"How Much Can a Koala Bare?", by Leanne Allinson.
Can you imagine my delight when I saw that there was a cute koala image in the new Tiny Tots collection?! My youngest has a stuffed toy koala that he carries around everywhere! He loves it so very much, I knew immediately that I had to create this layout for him and his tiny friend. I've highlighted the koala image by trimming it from the Daily Details patterned paper and adhering it to pop dots. The long title draws the eye down to my photos and then hopefully to my journaling. To keep my photo with the hidden journaling from popping up with the folded cardstock beneath it, I added a paper clip to the Treasures & Text phrase sticker and then backed it with cardstock, trimmed to size. The paperclip then slips directly over the photo without it adhering and preventing the journaling from being revealed in the future.
Supplies:
Tiny Tots: Watch Me Grow, Alphabet Soup, Daily Details, Treasure & Text; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: White; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Pickle Juice; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White; Crochet Hearts: Pickle Juice
“Christmas Legos”, by Katie Rose.
I just love the new Christmas Cheer collection! Definitely gets me in the mood for the holidays! For this layout I wanted to make some scalloped rows. To do that I used my circle punch on several of the patterned papers and then cut the circles in half. I then just lined them across the background to make a scallop. I added a few of the border stickers on top of the scallop rows to add a little dimension.
Supplies:
Christmas Cheer: Treasures & Text, Happy Hearts, Jingle All The Way, Merry & Bright, Reindeer Games, Making Spirits Bright, Paper Pieces; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: Guacamole
“Holly Jolly Christmas”, by Stephanie Buice.
A baby's first Christmas is an important time, and there is no better collection to document it with than Bella's new Christmas Cheer collection. I whipped this layout up in no time, the hardest part was trying to decide on which patterned papers I was going to use because I wanted to use them all! I Started with my pictures and layered embellishments from there.
Supplies:
Christmas Cheer: Daily Details, Merry & Bright, Borders, Reindeer Games, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Chipboard Icons; Designer Tapes: Red Chevron
“Boo Buddies” card, by Kathy Martin.
Halloween is so close I can smell sugar in the air! Candy apples, chocolate bars and Halloween crafting are just a few of the many things I look forward to this time of year! For this cutesy Halloween card I just had to use the irresistible ‘Boo Buddies” from the Daily Details paper for my focal point and layered them on the green star background paper to brings out Frank’s lovely green complexion!
Supplies:
Halloween Magic: Goblin Treats, Daily Details, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets
“Owl Friends” card, by Kathy Martin.
As summer winds down I’m looking forward to all things fall. Like falling leaves and playing with Bella Blvd’s new Hello Autumn collection. The hubs and I spent our vacation in the mountains and all the wood grain and leaf prints in this line will be perfect for preserving those outdoor memories! There’s so many beautiful prints in this collection so I made a card that uses several of them. To do this I used a washi die to create a background of tape strips. If you don’t have a washi die, just cut thin strips of paper and make jagged edges on the ends.
Supplies:
Hello Autumn: Falling into Fall, Gatherings, Day Dream, Time to Rake, Borders, Daily Details
These are all GORGEOUS!! I loveeeeeeeeee that one by Leeanne!!! That Koala tag is PERFECT!!!!!
