“Last Day Of Second Grade”, by Diana Fisher.
If you had the same reaction I did to the Tiny Tots collection it was, "I wish my kid was younger!" I adore the little creatures and fun colors in this collection and knew I would just have to use it anyways. Here is how I made these amazing papers and embellishments work for my 8 year old. If you have school-aged children, the bright primary colors work really well for their school activities pages. There are multiple B-sides with an alphabet on them, and the words are even useful for the older age. I used this collection for my son's last day of school pictures and I love how it turned out!
Supplies:
Tiny Tots: Love to Learn, Flashcards, Alphabet Soup, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Paper Pieces
"Where's Connor?”, by Jennifer Chapin.
The Tiny Tots collection is just perfect for my son Connor! For this layout I started with a neutral background and added patterned paper stripes as well as chipboard embellishments. The new Amorie chipboard alphas are just fabulous too! I added lots of foam pop dots for more dimension under my stickers and chipboard.
Supplies:
Tiny Tots: Watch Me Grow, Love to Learn, Busy Bee, One Fish Two Fish, Flashcards A-L, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Chipboard Icons; Amorie Chipboard Alpha: Blueberry
“In This Adventure Together”, by Wendy Antenucci.
I knew that I wanted to use the green paper as my background and the frogs with this picture of my boys. I used some white cardstock to keep the focus on my boys and allow me to layer all of my pieces. The One Fish Two Fish paper is probably my favorite ever, the colors on the back of the page are so bright and cheery and looked so good with my boys. Some blue because it is a boy layout and pops of red gave my layout a colorful, eye appealing look. While my layer looked great on the white cardstock, I was able to layer the cloud paper underneath and bring even more interest to my page. I love clouds so I punched a few clouds and inked them to further add to the outside feel of my page. The new chipboard alphabets are such a wonderful font, fun and bold, perfect to express the feeling of this page.
