It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

"Big & Small", by Leanne Allinson.
I love these paper blooms and I love the way they were created with long, thin strips of paper. I immediately took my inspiration from the colors in the Pinterest Inspiration and of course the technique used to create them. I simply replicated the long strips of gray, yellow and pink patterned paper and laid them haphazardly across my white back ground. More layers of coordinating patterned paper from the Scattered Sprinkles collection, were then built up under my photo. To give my layout an extra dimension, I used the long, thin strips of text from the Scattered Sprinkles Treasures & Text sticker sheet. Finally journaling was added to a tag and slipped beneath the photo.

“Bird Banding”, by Jamie Harder.
I was immediately drawn to the bright yellow flower in this week’s Pinterest inspiration so I went looking for photos with yellow in them and paired them up with some beautiful yellow papers and embellishments. I also loved the spring feel and wanted my page to reflect that as well. Birds always make me think of spring!

“Totally Love” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
For this card, I was inspired by the colors in the inspiration photo. I used papers from the new Scattered Sprinkles collection to create a color blocked background. I used matching Designer Tape to create a visual divider between the colors. I chose to embellish the card with a Bella Feather and stickers from the Scattered Sprinkles and Classic Calendars collections.
Supplies:
Scattered Sprinkles: Peep Sprinkles, Bell Pepper Sprinkles, Pickle Juice Sprinkles, Treasures & Text; Classic Calendars: Just Write Journaling Stickers; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Chevron, Cotton Candy Chevron, Yellow Chevron; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers; Feathers: White
“Summer Squeeze” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
When I first saw the inspiration photo, I was immediately drawn to the fringe style flowers and wanted to re-create that texture on my card! I did this by die cutting a circle out of vellum cardstock and using my fringe scissors to cut the fringe along the edge. I used papers and stickers from the new Summer Squeeze collection to finish my card.
Supplies:
Summer Squeeze: Borders, Wildflower, Treasures & Text, Just Write Journaling Stickers
