Project Life is everywhere these days, in many shapes and forms. Whether you create full Project Life albums, a few Project Life inspired layouts/spreads here and there, or even simply working Project Life style products (such as Bella's new Daily Details papers) onto your everyday layouts, there are so many ways to incorporate this popular style into your designs. We are asking our designers to be inspired by Project Life, and show us how they work that inspiration onto their own pages.
"Week 13", by Leanne Allinson.
I like to keep my Project Life process simple and uncomplicated, letting the photos and the journaling tell the stories. Exactly what PL is meant to be right? But sometimes my spreads are photo heavy and I am left with nowhere to share the weekly updates and the gorgeous filler cards that are so readily available! And the filler cards found in the Bella Blvd Candid Cards collections are really hard to pass up because they complement my stories so well!
To avoid this problem I simply create two things: photo collages and hidden journaling using the Candid Cards. The photo collages are created with an app on my phone or via Photoshop.
The hidden journaling was created using the "you is kind..." card (3"x4") from Lucky Starz, trimmed and then hinged to a larger Candid Card (4"x6") from the same collection with designer tape. The back of the hinged card is then covered with a journaling card, trimmed to the same size. The rest of the pocket card is then embellished as desired.

"Week 27", by Katherine McElvain.
I have a confession. Not all of my pictures and memories that I put in a particular Project Life week have actually happened that week. Sometimes I take photos from other dates and move them to create a theme for a page. Call me a liar, but I call it flexible. I know in my world that a year from now (sometimes as soon as a week from now) we won't remember the picky details, and to me it just doesn't matter. That was the case with this layout. Both my boys were filthy at various times throughout the month; also, I had bought my son industrial strength hand cleaner as a laughable gift for his birthday. I combined all those memories into a themed page about my messy boys. I intended on using the Max line to fill in all the spaces to embellish, but Bella has such great products that all coordinate, that I ended up using a variety of lines and some of my favorite pieces. I love the "Family Rules" card, and added one of the rules of our family that seems to be avoided during this week of life. And the new calendar piece from the Daily Details easily made a great title card for the spread by just adding some letters and dots to highlight the week.
