It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

"These Four", by Laura Vegas.
I loved this Pinterest image and had a definite plan in mind when I picked it out for the design team to work with. I used the black tone-on-tone star patterned paper to mimic the blackboard background in the photo, and the white/grey days of the week patterned paper to mimic the white wood table in the bottom of the photo. I used my Cameo to die cut layered flowers from pink, green, and white star patterned papers to line up across the page, mimicing the flowers in the eggs.

“I Love Being Your Mom”, by Katie Rose.
I was inspired by the gray, pink and white color combination in this photo and also by the big flowers. I immediately thought of the Sunday Brunch paper from the Family Forever collection with the beautiful, big flowers. I then chose other papers and embellishments coordinating with the gray, pink, and white color scheme. I thought these photos from Mother's Day a couple of years ago were a perfect fit!

“The Best Is Yet To Be” card, by Diana Fisher.
The Pinterest inspiration for this week inspired me with color and spacing. I love the pink and black combo with white, so that was what I focused on. I also liked how there was ample empty space at the top of the image. For this card, I applied the empty space from the image, the flowers and the colors.

“Adorbs” card, by Diana Fisher.
For my second card, I wanted to make sure I pulled in the green color from the image. I used more of a central focus, but I still made the pink, white and black the main colors.
Supplies:
Love and Marriage: Alpha+Bits; Snapshots: Paper Pieces; Molly: Paper Pieces, Candid Cards
