It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

"Easter Prayer", by Leanne Allinson.
I absolutely love the color palette of this week's Pinterest Inspiration photo and I knew immediately that I wanted to create a layout for my daughter. I also took inspiration from the strips of the colors in the vertical palette but created horizontal lines on my layout instead. The sequins were always going to be a feature on my page and I wanted them to be subtly entwined with the fussy cut "Molly" flowers and "Lucky Starz" stars, to create a magical trail of sparkles.
Supplies:
Molly: Sparkle & Shine, Trinkets, Treasures & Text; Lucky Starz: Pickle Juice Starz, Peep Starz, Gulf Starz, Color Wheel High Five, Trinkets
“Love You” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
The first thing that I noticed about the inspiration photo was the colors, so that is what inspired my first card. I used three different Bella collection (love that they all coordinate like this) as well as three different Bella embellishments.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Punch Starz, Treasures & Text; Love And Marriage: The Wedding Party, Just Write Journaling Stickers; High Five Alpha Stickers: Pink-Red; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Punch; Feathers: White; Designer Tape: Cotton Candy Chevron; Crochet Hearts: Pickle Juice
"Me & My House” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
For this card, I was inspired by the sequins! I chose backside of the Borders paper (from the Family Forever Collection) as the dots reminded me of sequins. After I layered on the focal image and other embellishments, I added even more sequins. I chose white ones so they didn't compete with the colorful background paper.
Supplies:
Family Forever: Trinkets, Borders, Candid Cards; Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Scallop; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron; Button Market: Masculine Mix; Crochet Hearts: Scallop
“Snapshots” altered shadowbox, by Jen Chesnick.
This Pinterest Inspired project certainly took a turn away from the photo, but that is the point right? To draw inspiration in your own way. So what came to me was the pile of sequins in the photo. So rummaging through my supplies the My Point of View pattern paper stuck out. I decided to pile the cameras down the page sort of like the sequins. I have 3 of these shadowbox frames and I change them out often. I love them because I can use a lot of depth without the worry of it being flattened in an album.
Supplies:
Snapshots: Daily Details, My Point of View, Borders, Paper Pieces, Captions; Family Forever: Treasures & Text
