With Easter just a week away, we thought we would share some Easter themed inspiration with you for a few days. Our talented designers have created an assortment of Easter layouts, cards, treat boxes, and more!
“Easter Joy” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I just love the soft, feminine colors in the Love and Marriage collection, and thought they would work perfectly for an Easter card! Instead of a standard card, I created two pockets and tucked some tags inside. Although the card doesn't open up like a regular folded card, the back is blank and a perfect place to write a message to the recipient.
Supplies:
Love and Marriage: Cake Testing, Cute Cuts, Esther Fleming Floral, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Miniatures, Alpha+Bits; Lucky Starz: Color Wheel High Five Alpha; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers
“Easter Bliss” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I started this card by creating an Easter basket. I wove strips of a neutral patterned paper (Smokeys in Love) together, rounded the corners, and added some lace and ribbon trim. I then filled the basket with paper "eggs". I created them by punching ovals out of various patterned papers and then added chunky glitter around the edges.
Supplies:
Spring Fling & Easter Things: Miniatures, Alpha+Bits; Sunshine & Happiness: Borders; Family Forever: Mom & Dad; Love and Marriage: Cake Testing, Esther Fleming Floral, Smokeys in Love; Sand & Surf: Paradise; High Five Alphas: Brown-Cream; Button Market: Purple Flowers
"Sweet Little Bunny”, by Jodi Wilton.
For this assignment, I was inspired to make something with feathers! I really wanted a big bunny and the white feathers really reminded of bunny ears, and the cotton candy crochet hearts reminded me of a cute little bunny nose and so the little bunny was created! I added some other details with the Spring Flings and Easter Flings embellishments too.
Supplies:
Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Scallop, Freestyle Cotton Candy; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Cute Cuts, Miniatures, Chipboard Icons; Molly: Borders, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text; Love and Marriage: Alpha+Bits; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Ice; Crochet Hearts: Cotton Candy; Feathers: White; Designer Tape: Hot Pink Dot, Gulf Dot
“Love”, by Kay Rogers.
I found these old Easter photos of my girls, and they just warmed my heart. The only smiles I could get from them was when they were making "bunny ears" behind each other's heads, photo-bombing each other. LOL!
Supplies:
Molly: Sketch with Style, Sparkle & Shine, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Candid Cards; Freestyle Paper: Freestyle Cotton Candy; Crochet Hearts: Cotton Candy; Feathers: Punch
Carrot Treat Boxes, by Kathy Martin.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…spring! The days are getting longer and warmer and they smell a little sweeter with the fragrance of flowers in the air! Easter is also on its way, a season to for crafting projects like these paper carrots. They were super simple to make with a Silhouette cut and Bella Blvd’s designer tape. I just took a strip of tape about 14” long, folded it in half lengthwise and curled it around a pencil. To attach them to the carrots, I put a small slit in the top of the box with a Xacto knife. I plan to fill them with chocolates and send them to my father-in-law who has a great big sweet tooth and will be celebrating his 90th birthday this in April.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Carrot Starz; Sunshine & Happiness: Popsicle Kisses; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Chevron, Pickle Juice Stripe, Pickle Juice Dot
“Spring” card, by Kathy Martin.
While I had my supplies out, I couldn’t resist putting together this simple and quick card to go along with the treat boxes.
Supplies:
Spring Flings & Easter Things: Alpha+Bits Stickers, Chipboard Icons; Sunshine & Happiness: Popsicle Kisses
