“Rec Soccer”, by Wendy Sue Anderson.
I just love the new star patterned papers in the Lucky Starz Collection - they are so versatile and fun! I love the tone-on-tone colors because they make perfect backgrounds! For my layout I chose black, yellow, and white - the colors of Zach's soccer team - and then realized that I could have chosen any color scheme because the photo I used was black and white. Oh well - I still love the colors!

“LOVE” altered canvas, by Wendy Antenucci.
I found this great burlap canvas at Hobby Lobby (Michaels has some now too) and just had to purchase it. But then it sat, and sat, and sat. I needed the perfect papers to give a homey feel and the Family Forever line was the perfect collection for the job!
I began by painting the edges of my letters with gesso and then I covered the letters with the different papers. Then came the fun part!
I decorated each letter with different bits and pieces and stickers that went with my blue/red/yellow color theme. I just had to add in a few of the flowers from the Sunday Brunch page because they are my favorite from this line. I finished off my canvas by hot gluing the letters to the canvas.

Family House altered frame, by Wendy Antenucci.
This next project was actually the idea behind my canvas too. I received this great house die from Top Dog Dies and it was the perfect size to house the candid cards. I originally tried to incorporate the house on my canvas, but the canvas headed in a different direction so I needed something to house my saying. I chose to use another canvas, but I used the back to form a shadowbox perfect for decorating!
To mold my paper around my canvas, I trimmed it to the size I wanted and then wet the paper. This allowed me to mold my paper and by placing stamp blocks in the corners as it dried, my paper now fit my frame.
After my frame dried I began assembling my house using some of the Top Dog Dies Home finisher pieces to decorate my house. I doodled on my house to add some definition and added a few embellishments to enhance my house. I trimmed down the candid card with the Family Rules and of course a few more flowers for my house.

“Celebrate Today” card, by Ashley Marcu.
The beautiful flower in the Family First Candid Card collection deserved to be the focal part of this card. I highlighted it by putting a die cut polaroid frame around it and adding some glitter. The sentiment will be perfect for an upcoming wedding, graduation or even to welcome a new baby. There are so many things to celebrate this spring!

“Love” card, by Ashley Marcu.
The Sunday Brunch patterned paper is my favorite from the Family Forever collection. It's bright and beautiful and has the perfect green complimentary paper on the back! I placed a velum flag over the paper to display my die cut sentiment. I cut out the "o" and replaced it with a coordinating sticker to complete my sentiment. Simple, fresh and fun!
