With Easter just a week away, we thought we would share some Easter themed inspiration with you for a few days. Our talented designers have created an assortment of Easter layouts, cards, treat boxes, and more!
“An Egg-Cellent Day”, by Stephanie Buice.
This will be Brady's first Easter that he's actually interested in the Easter Bunny, Painting eggs or any of the other fun things that go along with this holiday. That means this was my very first time doing an actual Easter layout and it was so much fun! I didn't have very much Easter product on hand so I went through my drawer of Bella scraps and got busy cutting out eggs. I had fun mixing and matching from various collections to get a pastelish look, but because it was a "boy" page I tried to mix in darker shades here and there to keep it from looking too feminine. I added a few chipboard and sticker embellishments here and there and just worked my way up the center of my page. I like the look of the added dimension I got from popping a few of my elements up with foam dots, to me it really keeps your eye moving up the layout. Happy Easter!
Supplies:
Spring Flings & Easter Things: Miniatures, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Cute Cuts, Chipboard Icons; Family Forever: Game Night, Mom & Dad, Treasures & Text; Max: Treasures & Text; Lucky Starz: Pickle Juice Starz, Trinkets, Treasures & Text; Kiss Me: Bouquet Kisses; Flags: Spring Flings & Easter Things; Simply Simona Chipboard Alphas: Oyster, Orange; High Five Alpha Stickers: Color Wheel, Piggy-Punch
“Some Bunny To Love”, by Jamie Harder.
You can never have too many stuffed animals right? HA! Well my daughter thinks not! She loves this giant bunny that she got for Easter … where it will fit in her room is yet to be determined :-) This layout is a mix of many collections and I love how perfect they all mix together!
Supplies:
Family Forever: Mom & Dad; Lucky Starz: Candid Cards, Treasures & Text; Molly: Candid Cards, Paper Pieces; Play Date: Captions; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sienna Chipboard Alpha: Frosting; High Five Alpha Stickers: Color Wheel, Piggy Punch; Crochet Hearts: Punch
Carrot Treat Boxes, by Diana Fisher.
For Easter, put your treats into a shaped box instead of individual eggs. They'll be sure to brighten up the basket this year! I made these treat boxes using a carrot-shaped Silhouette gift box file, but then adding a hole at the top to fit the feathers as carrot toppers.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Carrot Starz; Play Date: Little Birdie; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Miniatures; Feathers: Pickle Juice; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron
“Easter” card, by Diana Fisher.
Shaped cards are always a treat to give and receive. Especially in the spring time! Bunnies, chicks, eggs — they are all adorable ways to send a greeting. I made this card with a Silhouette shape that I doubled, flipped and welded together to make a card.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Color Crazy, Color Wheel High Five Alphas; Crochet Hearts: White; Spring Fling & Easter Things: Miniatures
Easy Bunny Prop Face, by Shellye McDaniel.
Even if you don't have this particular scrolled die by Spellbinders, any fun shape would do! If you don't own a die-cutting machine, search the internet for shapes that you can print and trace :) My bunny face consists of two large punched pieces using Spellbinders' Labels Fourteen die and side B of the Unlimited Text paper. I glued a paper straw to one of the shapes and then sandwiched the two pieces together with foam adhesive in between.
{Inspiration Image: Munchkin Munchies}
For the face, I die cut a smaller version of the label shape from the Freestyle Scallop paper. Next, I drew on a face with a black marker, added some blush to the cheeks with pink chalk and then a Crochet Heart for the nose. The whiskers were made by cutting small widths of grey cardstock and curling them a bit at the ends before gluing in place. A sprinkling of adhesive pearls and my face is ready for posing! As my Pinterest inspiration shows, you can also cut out some teeth from white cardstock and add to change up the look.
Supplies:
Molly: Unlimited Text; Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Scallop; Crochet Hearts: Punch
Carrot Cones, by Shellye McDaniel.
Although my kids are older (20, 16 and 12) they still expect and look forward to their Easter treat! These carrot cones were super simple to put together. Start with a 6X6 square of the Carrot Starz paper. Cut the paper from one corner to the opposite corner, rounding as you go. You may wish to use a template or create your own and then trace the design onto the patterned paper. Roll the paper into a cone shape and adhere at the seams with a high tack adhesive.
For the carrot's top, I cut a 3H" X 4W" strip of green cardstock and then cut slits into the paper about 3/4 of the way down. Roll the ends of the strips if desired and then attach to the inside (back) of the cone. Decorate the front with colorful punch-outs, flowers and the child's initials. For display, I inserted a bamboo skewer through the cone and then staked them into a bucket filled with floral foam covered in excelsior. Fill with Easter grass and candies!
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Carrot Starz Paper, Color Crazy Starz; Molly: Sparkle & Shine; Button Market: Fruit Punch, Outdoors; Sienna Chipboard Alphabet: Punch

Stephanie what watercolors did you use on your page? I tried using my first watercolors the other day and my paper warped so badly.
