Welcome to "What's New Wednesday"! Every Wednesday, our designers will be sharing projects using the latest and greatest products from Bella Blvd. Especially our newest collections, which our designers are having so much fun creating with!
“Ladies' Man”, by Kelly Holbrook.
This is one of my favorite photos of my oldest son ... ever. It was taken over 3 years ago, and I have never done anything with it. But, it was the first picture that I thought of when I was rummaging through my Max stash. I love everything about this collection. It really is perfect for boys of any age.
Supplies:
Max: Text Me, That's My Boy, Shark Attack, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Candid Cards; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream
“Movie Matinee”, by Wendy Sue Anderson.
One of our favorite family activities is going to the movie theater – the only thing better than enjoying a good movie, hot buttered popcorn, and an icy cold soda is coming home to scrapbook the photos with these fun, bright, happy papers! I thought the stars were perfect for documenting this “five star” movie experience!
Supplies:
Family Forever: Family Game Night, Language of Love, Treasure & Text, Trinkets, Candid Cards, Paper Pieces; Lucky Starz: Treasures & Text, Color Wheel High Five Alpha, Trinkets; Max: Treasures & Text; Designer Tape: Red Chevron, Yellow Chevron
“Be Yourself” card, by Ashley Marcu.
I LOVE Bella's new boy line Max! I wanted to rock out with this card and make it for the ultimate guitar hero! I started with the die cut journaling card and added some glitter to the guitar. I found all the stars I needed throughout many of the new collections and layered them in the card. The tab at the top was a fun addition along with a few stars I die cut from the neutral side of the Max journaling card.
Supplies:
Max: Rock Star, Candid Cards, Treasures & Texts; Lucky Starz: Bell Pepper Starz; Family Forever: Family Rules; Molly: Paper Pieces
“Favorite Dude” card, by Ashley Marcu.
This card shows a different side of Max. I love the cameo in this line. There are so many prints and images to choose from. I stuck with mostly cool colors for this card and then added a few cardstock stickers in warm tones for a fun twist of color. I added glitter to the stars for a little extra shine.
Supplies:
Max: That's My Boy, Candid Cards, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Texts
“Our Story” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
Oh, how I love this new collection! The pretty watercolor flowers grabbed my attention immediately and I had to use it first thing! I created a house shaped card using a couple of my favorite papers. I embellished it with some coordinating stickers and a Crochet Heart.
Supplies:
Family Forever: Sunday Brunch, Mom & Dad, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Crochet Hearts: Punch
“My Guy” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
It is so hard to find papers and embellishments that work for both young boys and older teens, but the new Max collection does exactly that! I started with a Candid Card and cut it down just a little (to better fit on my card). I layered it on some coordinating patterned paper, added a star border (Also from the Max collection) and then layered on some stickers. For added dimension, I popped some of the stickers up.
Supplies:
Max: Text Me, Master of Disguise, Borders, Candid Cards, Trinkets, Treasures & Text
