It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

“In The Moment”, by Nicole Nowosad.
As soon as I saw the Pinterest piece, I thought of an ombre like rainbow! I decided to use strips of paper along the bottom of my page similar to the links in the photo, alternating from yellow to pink, using lots of fun patterns from the new CHA collections. I was able to mix up Molly, Lucky Starz and Family Forever easily – it’s like the collections were meant to be used together!
Supplies:
Molly: Treasures & Text, Refuse to Sink, Sketch with Style, Trinkets; Lucky Starz: Treasures & Text, McIntosh Starz, Carrot Starz, Trinkets, Candid Cards; Family Forever: Family Game Night, Mom & Dad, Borders, Family Rules, Candid Cards; High Five Alpha Stickers: Pink-Red; Crochet Hearts: Cotton Candy; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron; Button Market: Fruit Punch, Red Flowers
“Monster High Love”, by Jennifer Chapin.
I was really inspired by the color scheme in this week's Pinterest challenge. I thought the pink, orange and yellow would be a perfect match to some photos I had of my daughter. I wanted to document her new love of Monster High and the Molly collection was a great match! I love the skull and crossbones, it made a great compliment for my theme. I added lots of Candid Cards, as well as a clothespin, enamel dots and some machine stitching to complete the page.
Supplies:
Molly: Refuse to Sink, Selfie, Paper Pieces, Candid Cards, Treasures & Text; Max: Treasures & Text, Candid Cards; Family Forever: Treasures & Text; Sienna Chipboard Alpha: Punch
“Home Is Where You Are” card, by Diana Fisher.
I was inspired by the color scheme in the photo and also made sure to include linear elements to mimic the lines in the image. There are a lot of layers going on in this card, but it still looks simple because of the soft pastel tones.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Color Crazy Starz, Candid Cards; Family Forever: Paper Pieces, Trinkets
“Love You So Much” card, by Diana Fisher.
I took this card in a more literal tone and mimicked both the colors and the lines in the Pinterest image. The sentiment on the card is also in the lower corner just like the table and all of the decor is in the image.
Supplies:
Lucky Starz: Peep Starz, Color Crazy Starz, Carrot Starz, Bell Pepper Starz, Punch Starz, Candid Cards, Trinkets; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron
“Love You” card, by Kathy Martin.
When I finished this card and was photographing it, I got a craving for sorbet! Rainbow and orange sorbet were favorite flavors of mine as a child and today, as a paper crafter, I love the bright color combination for my projects! Along with the yummy texture of Bella Blvd’s crochet hearts!
Supplies:
Snapshots: Paper Pieces, Bookplates, Alpha+Bits; Daily Chevies: Chevy Bell Pepper; Crochet Hearts: Saltwater, Punch, Orange
“Hello Happiness” card, by Kathy Martin.
Variety is the spice of life! Die cuts, pretty paper, wood, craft string and stickers all went into this card design along with supplies from four different Bella Blvd collections. I always enjoy mixing materials, patterns and colors … playing with them like pieces of a puzzle until I’m satisfied enough to glue the elements into place.
Supplies:
Snapshots: Daily Details; Play Date: Daily Details; Daily Chevies: Chevy Bell Pepper; Love and Marriage: Miniatures
