We hope you're ready to be inspired! We have a handful of never-before-seen projects left to share with you, all featured in our CHA Winter booth display, during our last "Inspiration Week" feature. The new collections have already begun shipping out to stores and online retailers, so you should start seeing them pop up on shelves any day now (if you haven't already!). We hope that you'll be inspired by the projects our Design Team worked so hard creating with all of the new collections and products.
“Family Favorites”, by Becki Adams.
My family isn’t always cooperative when we take a family photo, but I document them anyway. The Forever Family collection is full of bright colors mixed with plenty of neutrals to use as backgrounds and tons of bright colors to spice things up a bit.
Supplies:
Family Forever: Candid Cards, Paper Pieces, Family Photo, Family Rules, Language of Love, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Decorative Tape: Pickle Juice Stripe, Yellow Chevron; Feathers: McIntosh; Crochet Hearts: Cotton Candy
“Sweet Girl”, by Brook Stewart.
I love mixing neutrals with bold bright colors. I knew right away that I wanted to mix the muted greys in this line with that bold flower pattern and the yellow diagonal stripes. A match made in heaven! The chipboard trees and yellow crochet hearts were the perfect accents!
Supplies:
Family Forever: Happy Home, Family Rules, Sunday Brunch, Mom and Dad, Borders, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Ciao Chip Elements: Trees; Crochet Hearts: Bell Pepper
“Little Lauren & Uncle Steve”, by Stephanie Smokovich.
When planning pages for CHA work I had this photo in mind. The yellow, blue and reds in the photo of my husband and niece snuggling on the couch were perfect for the Family Forever products. To create the layout I used the new Candid Cards die-cuts to color block the left-hand 6" of the page. Did you know the backsides of the Candid Cards in Family Forever have colorful chevron prints? I also love the little 2x2" squares, fit in the 4x6" photo and played with sticker and chipboard fonts for the title.
Supplies:
Family Forever: Borders, Happy Home, Candid Cards, Paper Pieces, Treasures & Text, Trinkets; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Ice, Frosting; High Five Alpha Stickers: Green; Crochet Hearts: Gulf
"Family Forever", by Shellye McDaniel.
Create several 'card-starters' by making collage pieces from the Candid Cards, Paper Pieces and various sticker sheets. Start with any larger shape and then layer on pieces with foam adhesive. Soften each with a bit of tied twine or ribbon. Display them by clipping to a frame lined with wire. When a card is needed simply attach one of the collage pieces to a card-front and you're all set!
Supplies:
Family Forever: Borders, Paper Pieces, Candid Cards, Trinkets & Treasures, Trinkets; Crochet Hearts: McIntosh, Bell Pepper, Saltwater; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Frosting; Designer Tape: Red Chevron
