Happy New Year's everyone!!! And welcome to "What's New Wednesday"! Every Wednesday, our designers will be sharing projects using the latest and greatest products from Bella Blvd. Especially our newest collections, which our designers are having so much fun creating with!
“Christmas Magic”, byBecki Adams.
Christmas is all about children and magic. Nearly every year my kids get a new ornament. With this project I wanted to document a little bit about our Christmas tree and the ornaments that we put on it each year.
Supplies:
Christmas Countdown: Daily Details, O Tannenbaum, Christmas, Paper Pieces, Tabs, Captions; Crochet Hearts: Pickle Juice; Feathers: McIntosh; Designer Tape: Blue Chevron Tape, Gulf Dot
“Is It Christmas Yet”, by Wendy Antenucci.
How many times a day did your little ones ask if it was Christmas yet? I heard that question every time we did something Christmas related. So of course when the tree went up it must be Christmas now (even though Thanksgiving was the day before). I created this layout using the different Project Life type cards and Bits and Pieces included in the Christmas Countdown collection and a few stickers. I only used one full sheet of paper which was perfect for my dwindling supply of this gorgeous collection! I used a grid configuration so that I was able to scrap these pictures quickly, but by tilting a few items and having pieces run off my "squares" I was able to keep my layout feeling fun just as our days before Christmas were with 6 kids.
Supplies:
Christmas Countdown: Captions, Tabs, Paper Pieces, Christmas, Tree Park, O Tannenbaum, Daily Details; Button Market: Pickle Square; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream
“You’re A Hoot”, by Jen Chesnick.
I am currently catching up on Fall and Winter layouts. I just finished this Trick or Treat layout with photos of my daughter from Halloween. I cut the Borders paper into strips so I cut slip my photos underneath and layer my embellishments on top. I didn't have any bold black alphabets so I created my own! Using glossy accents I covered each letter with a thick layer then sprinkled with black glitter. Let dry over night for best results!
Supplies:
Trick or Treat: Borders, Daily Details, No Brainer, Spooky Town, Paper Pieces, Captions, Tabs; Designer Tapes: Pickle Juice, Polka Dot Combo, Ice Stripe; Sienna Chipboard Alphabets: Pickle Juice
“Trick or Treat”, by Diana Fisher.
Every October I make sure to take posed pictures of my son in his Halloween costume for that year. Halloween night is a blur and the lighting is always less than desirable. I love that he gets a chance to see how "cool" he looked in his costume and to have a chance to act out all of his great character moves ahead of time.
Supplies:
Trick or Treat: Spooky Town, Happy Owloween, Borders, Daily Details, Paper Pieces, Captions, Tabs
