Project Life: Bella Style

Project Life is everywhere these days, in many shapes and forms. Whether you create full Project Life albums, a few Project Life inspired layouts/spreads here and there, or even simply working Project Life style products (such as Bella's new Daily Details papers) onto your everyday layouts, there are so many ways to incorporate this popular style into your designs. We are asking our designers to be inspired by Project Life, and show us how they work that inspiration onto their own pages.

I am a huge fan of the cardstock stickers that match each and every collection in the Bella Blvd catalogue.  These stickers are especially fun to use for Project Life spreads. They give a finishing touch and help document the story of the day in a concise and beautiful manner. These stickers are also fabulous for adding layers without adding extra bulk to your pages. Team them up with Daily Details from the new collections and your Project Life pages come together quickly without fuss.

For my Bella Project Life post this month I thought I would give you a little peek at my December Daily. I bought a kit online that included lots of December goodies, but no big surprise, the Bella Blvd papers fit right in with the rest. The thing about my doing a December Daily is that with all the fun and crazy stuff going on this month there is little time for me to put the album together. So I take on a quick and easy style that the divided page protectors are the perfect solution. For my day nine spread I was inspired by a post that Ali Edwards did for her December Daily using confetti over a large photo in a page protector. I did the same using some sequins and the cute Bella Paper Pieces. On the opposite page I cut down a page protector and simply slipped the 3x4 cards from the Christmas Countdown Daily Details paper into the slots with a few sequins added. Behind the half page is peeking the next day’s post featuring some Bella Alphabets for the title (shhhhh…it's not finished yet). At this point 9 days down, 16 to go.

I haven’t been very successful at Project Life, but I do love the card style of page! I trimmed down the backside of the Chevy Gulf paper and completed a year in review style page, using lots of small photos taken this last year! I keep everything else pretty simple, adding in lots of letter and phrase stickers from several Alpha+Bits sheets!
