Fabric Puppet Theater, by Tiffany Hood.
I made this for my kids for Christmas. They have a ton of puppets they've collected, mostly from Ikea, and I've always wanted them to have a big wooden puppet theater, but there just isn't room, so I made them a doorway puppet theater that when taken down can be rolled up and easily stored. The theater is held in the doorway with a tension rod. I used a 5/8" rod, but you can use whatever you can find at the store. I made this theater 32" wide because that's the width of the doors at our house. The opening for the puppets is about 20"x18."
I inserted dowel rods at the bottom, and above and below the opening before sewing up the sides. This creates a lot of stability and structure. The curtains are on their own rod and can be un-tied and closed.
The banner was done by cutting out and sewing on yellow felt triangles. I added a ribbon trim along the top. The kids absolutely love it.

Little Boy Romper, by Christine Ousley.
Hello, everyone. It's Christine here with a fun fabric project for you using Puppy Park. I love this fabric line and it is absolutely perfect for the romper that I sewed for my son. I do a lot of sewing of children's clothing but it's not often that I find such a perfect fabric line for my little boy. Full of adorable puppies and rich colors, Puppy Park, was the perfect choice for this project.
The romper pattern by The Cottage Mama, which I used to sew it up, is a really easy sew and can be even be reversible. The striped fabric on the cuffs is actually the lining, turned up to create the cuffs. This allows for growth which will mean he will get a lot of use out of this cute little outfit.
I also added a cute little puppy appliqué to the front of the romper and the little tabs, which are part of the pattern, were the perfect spot to use the brown dog bones fabric in the line. I love all of the coordinating prints and I'm sure you will see lots more of this fabric in my projects in the future.

Fabric Scrap Bag, by Kathy Frye.
A new year, new sewing accessories! It was fun to use Bella Blvd's newest fabric collection Summer Breeze, a very cheery and bright collection. The Scrap Bag is great for sewing and crafts! It has a pincushion, a little tool pocket and a large pocket/bag for scraps of thread, fabric, paper, etc.
Fabric Pincushion, by Kathy Frye.
The little Chicken Pincushion was paper-pieced as the Square in a Square block and each side uses 4 different fabrics, one side is Pinky and the other side is Aquas. It's a little eccentric, and so fun! Never can have enough pincushions around! Wishing everyone a Happy New Year, and lots of creating fun new projects!
