Monday Morning Challenge: Triangles

Welcome to Monday Morning Challenge, where we offer up a challenge, and share with you our designers take on that challenge. Today we asked our designers to incorporate triangles into the design of their projects.

I have been wanting to try out a triangle background for my page so this was perfect timing for me. I started out by cutting a basic triangle shape on some scrap paper and traced it onto each of the patterns in the Thankful collection. I lined them each up on the page and then stitched them down for a quilted feel.

“Tiny Turkey” mini album, by Jen Chesnick.

When posed with the challenge of triangles I immediately thought of candy corn! I used my my Cameo to create my candy corn shaped mini album our of pattern paper. I used a heavier card stock as my base for the front and back. I chose to just double up pattern paper for the inside pages. Lots of layers of stickers and chipboard pieces give the book some added heft. The Thankful line was perfect for our pumpkin patch photos and of course my not so tiny turkey Parker.
