Bella Blvd Studio Blog: Meet The Team: Kay Rogers, Katie Rose, Laurie Schmidlin, Jodi Wilton

We are so excited to introduce you to our 2013-2014 Design Team! We are spending the first two weeks of October getting to know each designer and sharing a few of their DT submission projects. We just know you're going to love our new designers just as much as we do!

Hi, I'm Kay Rogers. I started scrapbooking 10 years ago, as my youngest daughter Jenna was turning 1 and I wanted to have a record of her first year. I've been hooked ever since! My style is pretty simple, and very linear. I blame it on the math teacher in me. I'm known for being an extremely fast scrapper, which I think has grown out of necessity. Time is always at a minimum. I am wife to Bill, mom to Jenna and Emily, and have two cats and a dog. I live in Michigan, and love three of the four seasons. Winter? Not so much. I am thrilled and honored to be designing for Bella Blvd.

Hello! My name is Katie Rose. I live in a small town on the coast of New Hampshire with my husband, Al, and our 3 kids … Brandon (15), Max (12) and Ally (7). I’ve been scrapbooking for about 12 years now. Although it feels like I have been doing it all my life … I was a member of the Sticker Club as a kid (anyone remember those?) and always loved making photo collages, etc. I love photography and love to keep the focus on my photos on my scrapbook layouts. I love color which is why Bella Blvd is such a great fit for me … sure makes my photos pop! When I’m not scrapbooking I run a childcare center with my sister. I am addicted to Instagram and Pinterest and could not live without my phone. I love spending time with my family, watching the kids play sports, and watching reality TV (my guilty pleasure). I am so excited and honored to be a part of this Bella Blvd team and looking forward to a fantastic year!

Hi, I'm Laurie! I live in beautiful Big Sky Country (a rural area in southwest Montana) on a cattle ranch with my husband and five children! I've been playing with paper and ink for over 17 years now. While I enjoy anything to do with paper crafts, card making is definitely my favorite! I just love being able to create something personalized for the recipient that will hopefully brighten their day! When I am not creating, I am usually running my kids around to their various sports and school functions, spending time with my family (we are total board game junkies), trying out a new recipe, or out and about on the ranch. I am SO thrilled to be a part of this amazingly talented Bella Team!

Hi everyone, I'm Jodi Wilton! I'm from Welland, Ontario, Canada, and I have been married to my husband for 10 years. We have three amazing kiddos that keep me on my toes- two girls (9 and 3) and one boy (7). During the day, I run my own daycare from my home, and have the pleasure of "playing" all day! At night, you can find me scrapping until the wee hours of the morning! I first starting scrapping in 1998, when I was working on a cruise ship, and I wanted a way to document my travels! I started a journal/trip diary/scrapbook. My style has changed so much since then, and I find it continues to evolve with new techniques and trends! I describe my style today as being bright and cheery with clean lines, and hint of whimsy in there too! I am so grateful to be given this amazing opportunity to design for Bella Blvd!
