It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

"So Blessed", by Leanne Allinson.
I was quite intrigued by this inspiration photo and in particular, drawn to the
pillows on the bed. The white back ground of the bed head and the layering
of the pillows are reflected in my layout. Essentially I started to
"make the bed" with layers of gray, gulf and yellow patterned
papers. I then focused on the quote, altered it slightly to suit my layout
theme, and then added a black and white photo to sit next to it.
***Tip: The
letter 'h' in mother was created using the letter 'n' and an the
end of the exclamation mark. The letter 't' over laps the join and keeps
my title work neat.

"Rodeo", by Megan Klauer.
I loved the color of this inspiration piece! It ended up working great with my rodeo photos even though I wasn't sure it would at first. That's why a challenge like this really is so much fun. It gives us a little nudge to think outside the box.

“Smile On” card, by Kathy Martin.
Inspiration for paper crafting is found all around us, in nature, a pretty dress, magazine ads and one of my favorites, Pinterest! This photograph is the inspiration for ‘Smile On.’ I used the same yellow, turquoise, white and gray color palette and brought in the chevron pattern with some Daily Chevies paper and die cuts. I even added a couple hearts.

“Family” card, by Kathy Martin.
Using the same Pinterest inspiration photo, same color palate and mostly the same Bella Blvd products, I was able to create a totally different, but complimentary card style by using another set of die cuts. Instead of chevron stripes and a large circle, I swapped them for a couple different paper pad dies. Both my cards us plenty of foam adhesive tape to create layers and dimension.
