“First Day of School”, by Jennifer Chapin.

Today I'm sharing a layout with you using the new Snapshots line! I thought this line was perfect to document my daughter's first day of school. I love the hand doodled look of the patterned paper and thought that paired perfectly with the notebook paper themed background. I went big with part of my title and accented with some sequins.

“Love”, by Megan Klauer.

I was lucky enough to be asked by a past high school friend (who just published her first children’s book), if I would take a few shots of Ella holding the book for promotional purposes. With the title of the book being "Flamingo Fiasco", I knew right away Ella would be wearing one of Bella's Feathers in her hair. I simply clipped it under flower to hold it in place. This special occasion needed to be in my Project Life album and the Snapshots was perfect for recording it. I like to mix in a 12x12 in my album every now and then and then add details to the facing page as I did here. If you do Project Life, do you mix in full 12x12 pages?

Just as date nights are a rare occurrence for my husband and I these days, it's even more unlikely that I take the time to scrapbook pictures and memories of the two of us. My new smart phone (yes, I know, I'm way late to the game!) and the Instagram app have made it a whole lot easier to capture some of those easily missed moments and memories. I couldn't wait to dig into the gorgeous and colorful new Snapshots collection to pair with my favorite date night Insta-Pic. With all of the fun camera images and clever sayings, it proved to be a perfect match!

"Joy to the World" card, by Gretchen McElveen.

For today's "What's New" feature, I decided to play with the new Christmas line. Hey, it's never too early to start on those Christmas cards right??! And I was looking for an excuse to make some stuff with this new line! I used a few stickers from the Alpha + Bits stickers paired with paired with the "Daily Details" sheet of paper. That "Daily Details" is a perfect piece for your December Daily but it is also great for cards! Thanks for looking!

I went very traditional on this card, sticking with some of the fun reds & greens in the "Christmas Countdown" line. I used a couple of the new "paper pieces" that have been added to all the latest Bella Blvd lines. I've always been a sucker for die cuts so I love this new addition! Merry (early) Christmas to me!
