Pinterest Inspired is another take on our previous "Tuesday Inspiration" feature. It's always been fun to browse thru Pinterest, looking at the endless ideas and inspirational images that are out there. Our designers always enjoy taking whatever image we provide them, and using it in whatever way inspires them the most as they work on their projects. It's amazing to see how many different ideas and designs can be inspired by just one image.

“Maney The Monarch”, by Megan Klauer.
I took the Pinterest inspiration and applied it in a small, but playful way. I simply laid down three different Designer Tapes under the heart piece from the Snapshots Paper Pieces pack. When we came across our little "Maney the Monarch" (caterpillar) we went right to the web to find out some information. We found this great illustration, so I printed it to add to the page. This is where I got inspired by the arrows. The Hurry Up sheet from the Snapshots collection became the perfect background with arrows & bonus; it's green! Sometimes inspiration shows up in the most unexpected ways.

“My 3”, by Malika Kelly.
I really liked the look of the washi tape striped monogram letter in the inspiration picture and I wanted to make that happen on a layout. I used the negative of the first initials of each of my kids that I arranged in a grid pattern and then cut into a 12x12 paper on my silhouette. Then I took some scrap white card stock and layered my designer tape on top of it. I made four separate designer tape blocks, each color coordinated (blues, yellow and greens, pinks and then a multicolored number). I placed these blocks behind the cut out letters so that the strips of designer tape would show through the negative. The grid is hand stitched in black to help compartmentalize each little space. It was a lot of fun using all of Bella Blvd's new embellishments and stickers to decorate and fill up my squares.

"U & Me" card, by Gretchen McElveen.
I am so excited to finally get to play with all the new stuff! Yay Bella Blvd! For this card I was inspired by the large initial in the middle of the inspiration piece. I cut the "&" out of a sheet of "Chevie" patterned paper and used it as the central focus of the card. Then I added the "u" and "me" stickers from the Snapshots Alpha+Bits stickers around the ampersand. I cut the hearts out of a different sheet of "Chevie" patterned paper and used them to embellish above & below the sentiment.

Snapshots: Borders, Alpha+Bits;

"Smile On" card, by Gretchen McElveen.
Unlike the cool inspiration piece, I didn't use strips of washi tape to create the background of this card. Instead I used different strips of patterned paper and a border sticker to create a similar look. I couldn't resist ... I wanted to play with the new Bella Blvd goodies! Thanks for looking!
