Our Design Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!

“Sisters”, by Laura Vegas.

For this layout, I decided to do a little fussy cutting on the chevron patterned papers, cutting out a few chevron rows from each color, in both the lighter shade and the darker shade. I then pieced them all back together on a sheet of white cardstock, leaving a little gap in between each row, creating a colorful chevron design that matched the photos of my friend's daugthers perfectly.

“Emily Is Three”, by Laura Vegas.

I think the grey and white diamond patterned paper is perfect for backgrounds, and matting in onto the black star paper really helps it stand out. I then hand cut two rows of the pink chevron patterned paper and two rows of the green chevron patterned paper, using a single row of the black chevron patterned paper to seperate them.

“It’s All About The Mustache”, by Sheri Feypel.

These Orange Chevrons scream Halloween to me! I had no choice but to pair them up with some of the Trick Or Treat papers and embellishments.

“Yum”, by Diane Payne.

The alternate side to the Daily Chevies really complement the large chevron colors and rounds it out with basic shapes like hearts, stars, stripes, triangles and a variety of everyday captions like the "happiness" card I used on this layout. Mixed together these are great scrapping staples. To create the large arrows, I cut out parts of the large chevrons and layered them for movement.

"P.S. I Love You" card, by Becky Williams.

I really like the new Bookplate stickers! The one I used on this card fit so perfectly with the heart-patterned paper. I used the paper as a background and then cut out extras which I added to the card with foam adhesive.

“You’re My World” card, by Laura Vegas.

I love to colorblock on my layouts, so why not do it more often on my cards, right? I used four small pieces of patterned paper on this card, and then added an aqua embellishment to the yellow patterned paper and some yellow embellishments to the aqua patterned paper across from it.

“October 31^st”card, by Shellye McDaniel.

I love the look of subway art and use it a lot in my card designs. It’s clean and linear and so easy to put-together with Bella Blvd’s new Daily Chevies! I did add a little POP by using foam dots under the banner stickers.
