We hope you're ready to be inspired! We are looking forward to providing you with endless inspiration during these next few weeks, with never-before-seen projects that are being featured in our CHA Smmer booth display. Our Design Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!
“Play Day”, by Brook Stewart.
The new Snapshots collection is one of my favorite Bella lines to date! I love all of the colors together, but if you pull some of them apart, you can get some really different color combos! Even though there is a lot of pink in this collection, pulling out some of the grays, greens, blacks and oranges makes for a perfect “boy” layout!
Supplies:
Snapshots: Borders, Hurry Up!, Family Chaos, Alpha+Bits, Bookplates, Tabs, Paper Pieces; Daily Chevies: Gulf Arrows; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White
“Kaitlyn”, by Laura Vegas.
I am loving the new Snapshots collection! The color combos are so bright and fun. For this layout, I used a photo that my friend took of her oldest daughter. I framed the photo with small pieces of a variety of patterned papers.
Supplies:
Snapshots: My Point Of View, Hurry Up, Free Time, Rise & Shine, Borders, Daily Details, Alpha+Bits, Bookplates, Paper Pieces; Ciao Chip Elements: Clouds; Designer Tape: Teal Stripe; Feathers: Pickle Juice; Crochet Hearts: White, Cotton Candy; Button Market: Aqua Flowers, Fruit Punch, Pink Flowers, Hot Pink Flowers
“Stay Close”, by Stephanie Hunt.
Supplies:
Snapshots: Hurry Up!, Free Time, Rise & Shine, Pajama Day, Alpha+Bits; Daily Chevies: Chevy Bell Pepper; Designer Tapes: Orange Stripe, Gulf Dot; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Pickle Juice
“Live, Laugh” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
When designing a larger card (5X7) and using a standard journal card (3X4), I like to mat the journal card onto a separate piece of patterned paper so that I can adjust the height as needed. Borders stickers and cut-outs can also help to stretch the design, as well as add visual interest.
Supplies:
Snapshots: Pajama Day, Borders, Daily Details, Tabs, Captions, Alpha+Bits
“Wonderful Life” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
I used the large heart die-cut (Paper Pieces) as the anchor for this design…everything added to the card was tied to the heart in some fashion. Always liking to add as many different textures as possible, I took the top part of a feather and attached it to the back of the heart so that it would fan across the one side. I find that thin adhesive dots work really well with the feathers!
Supplies:
Snapshots: Paper Pieces, Alpha+Bits; Ciao Chip Elements: Clouds; Crochet Hearts: Scallop; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers; Feathers: Bell Pepper
“Welcome To The Neighborhood” card, by Brook Stewart.
The houses on the Pajama Day paper are so stinkin cute! I thought it would be perfect for a card for a new neighbor to welcome them to the area. I cut out an extra house and popped it with some foam tape on top of a house that was fairly identical to the one I cut. Simple, fun and your new neighbors will feel pretty special!
Supplies:
Snapshots: Pajama Day, Hurry Up!, Daily Details, Alpha+Bits; High Five Alpha Stickers: Piggy-Punch
