This past January, at Winter CHA, we were excited to announce that our new cling stamps would be licensed and manufactuered thru Hampton Art Stamps. The first three sets to be released coordinate with the Love and Marriage collection, Sand & Surf collection, and the Kiss Me collection.
Our Card Designers have had some time to get creative with these new stamps. We shared some cards with you yesterday and today we have another handful to share.
“Thinking Of You” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
The inspiration for this card was brought about from looking out my kitchen window. I love to see the blue sky, bright green grass and wildflowers dotting the landscape. To create my vision, I used designer tape as a pretty outline for my window; framing the blue sky. Next, I stamped two of the flower motifs from the "Sand & Surf" stamps onto a white cardstock. I used Colorbox's Very Berry and Squash and then colored in the petals and centers with watercolor pencils and then cut out. When using a clear stamp, I like to place a thin foam mat under the paper that I'm stamping on. This really does help to ensure a nice, crisp image.

“Thinking of You” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I am so glad the new Sand & Surf collection now has stamps. They work great as the focal image of a project or in addition to the other great elements in the collection (like Stickers and Ciao Chip pieces). For my card, I started with a couple different papers for the background. I layered on some Ciao Chip pieces and then embellished with two stamped images (the flower and arrow) as well as two different sentiments (all from the new Sand & Surf stamp set).

Sand & Surf: Borders, Surfs Up, Ciao Chip Icons; Button

“Your Love Is Better Than Ice Cream” card, by Carina Lindholm.
One of my favourite songs is “Ice cream” with Sarah McLachlan. And when I saw this cute little ice cream stamp I just knew I wanted to make a card with this quote. And I used the ice cream and a scallop circle to make the O in love.

and Marriage: Turner Hall Ballroom, May Eighteenth, Just Write Journaling Stickers;

Kiss Me
“I Mustache You A Question” card, by Carina Lindholm.
This quote always cracks me up! It’s just so funny and I wanted to use it on a card when I saw these cute mustache stamps. I stamped the mustaches in different colors and cut them out. I also stamped and cut out a bunch of speech bubbles. I adhered the mustaches to the speech bubbles by using pop dots to give the card some dimension.
Supplies:
High
Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White; Hampton Art Stamps: Kiss Me
“Bride to Be" card, by Gretchen McElveen.
On this next card, I stamped the wedding dress image from the "Love and Marriage" set onto a sheet of patterned paper and then cut it out. I used it as an embellishment for this card by adhering it with foam adhesive to a scalloped sticker and adhering the scalloped sticker to the card also with foam adhesive. I dressed up the card a little bit by adding a few pieces of bling to the stamped dress, to dot the "i", and along the scalloped border sticker.
