Fabric Doggie Bed, by Tiffany Hood.
Our family was lucky enough to adopt a dog a few months ago, and we wanted to make him some gifts that would help make him a part of our family this Christmas. Then I thought he needed a bed in my craft room since that's where I spend a lot of my time when my kids are at school, and he's always at my feet. This cute aqua fabric was perfect to match my craft room!
He likes the bed quite a bit, can you tell?
Fabric Doggie Christmas Stocking, by Tiffany Hood.
The first gift is a stocking. I made all of my family members stockings and my friend suggested our dog needed one as well. I completely agree. {Tiffany has written a short tutorial on how she created the stocking on her blog, which you can read HERE}
The cute felt puppy on the front is one of the dogs on the fabric! I enlarged him and printed him on paper and used it as a pattern to cut out the dog.
I embroidered our dog's name on the top of the stocking to match ours, and then used a satin stitch to sew on the bone.
Fabric Doggie Leash, by Tiffany Hood.
Then last I made him a cute leash. Every dog needs a cute leash, right?
Supplies:
Bella Blvd Puppy Park cotton fabrics; White fleece (interior of stocking); Felt (dog on stocking); Embroidery machine; Shaggy faux fur fabric in dark brown (dog bed); Leash clip
Fabric Journal Cover, by Kathy Frye.
Journaling appeals to all ages, and a pretty journal is a perfect and thoughtful gift. I used the cheery Sunny Happy Skies fabric, and here in Wisconsin we need sunny skies at this time of year.
You can’t go wrong with pink and yellow, hearts and flowers, a border, then simply add some big rick rack! Quick and reusable! A new Journal seems appropriate for the New Year!
Supplies:
Sunny Happy Skies fabric; Ribbon; Rick Rack; Journal
Absolutely beautiful fabric and items. My mad sewing skills is some straight lines here and there so I am always amazed at others talent. Wow!

Your projects are just unbelievably stunning. I just wish I could do all that and be as creative as you. It's just one more sign that I have to work harder on my craft to be able to be as good as you.
