Welcome to our last day of projects shares from our week long Team-Up with Basically Bare! A handful of our designers took some of their extra bits and pieces that were left over from creating their mini albums, and put them to good use on layouts and even an altered project. Let's check out their projects.
“Sweet Baby Jaxon”, by Jennifer Chapin.
I knew the moment I edited this photo I just had to scrap it. My good friend just had a sweet baby boy and this was the perfect opportunity to create a page. I used a combination of Bella's new Kiss Me collection and various mediums from Basically Bare - I love the texture that the canvas and chipboard pieces add to the layout. Don't be afraid to use small amounts of pink on a baby boy layout either. Paired with blues and yellows it doesn't come off feminine at all. I also used Versamark ink and teal embossing powder to heat emboss one of the small chipboard birds, the perfect addition to this baby themed page and a great way to use bare chipboard!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Love Notes, True Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Mr Boy: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Winter Wonder: Miniatures Cardstock Stickers; Simply Simona Chipboard Alphabet: Saltwater; High Five Alphabet Stickers: Brown-Cream; Ciao Chip Versatile Elements: Clouds, Stars & Hearts, Borders; Designer Tape: Blue Gingham, Gulf Dot; Button Market: Stars, Tie Dye, Outdoors; Crochet Flowers: Juniper
“Say Cheese!”, by Diane Payne.
The camera chipboard inspired everything in this layout from the happy smiling faces of my kiddos in the picture to the title and fun colors. I used the Borders paper to pull in a lot of colors and patterns using one sheet of paper.
Supplies:
Sunshine & Happiness: Popsicle Kisses, Borders, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Chipboard Icons; Birthday Girl: Miles of Smiles; Birthday Boy: Toadilly Cool; Finally Fall: You're a Hoot; Spring Flings & Easter Things: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Chevron; Button Market: Stars, Orange Stars, Outdoors, Bursts, Masculine Mix
“Hello Love, Will You Be Mine Forever?”, by Gina Lideros.
I absolutely adore the color palette and chevron design on the Love Notes paper from the Kiss Me collection. It is so bright and cheery and made the perfect background for my layout. I cut the fun arrow background using my Silhouette and brought in a baby pink from the Baby Girl collection and small green chevron from the Spring Flings and Easter Things collection. I love how Bella blvd lines all coordinate together so nicely. To embellish my layout I added some felt and acrylic bird pieces from Basically Bare and added Bella wood buttons and stickers to finsish the layout.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Love Notes, Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Surf n Turf; Baby Girl: It’s A Girl; Spring Flings and Easter Things: Mom's Bouquet; Sienna Chipboard Alphabets: Punch; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream, Blue; Designer Tape: Piggy Pink Stripe; Button Market: Checkers
"My (Mustache) Baby", by Jenny Evans.
I have to say that when I look at the mustache paper from the Kiss Me collection, it reminds me of my yorkie dog! His facial hair is always sticking up everywhere, and it reminds me of a mustache! So, of course I had to scrap it! The beret and mustache pieces from Basically Bare were the perfect compliment for my layout!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Mustache Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Surf N Turf; High Five Alpha Stickers: Piggy Punch, Gulf; Designer Tape: Gulf Dot, Blue Gingham; Button Market: Blues, Gulf Squares
Bird Mobile, Wendy Antenucci.
I received a pack of birds from Bare Essentials, the pack contained chipboard, translucent, and felt birds, since there were so many of the little birdies I thought it would be a great idea to use them on a mobile. I love bluebirds so I used the Sophisticates in Ice to dress my little chipboard birdies. I couldn't resist adding a cloud at the top for the finishing touches!
Supplies:
Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Ice, Sprinkles & Lace Oyster
These are all gorgeous!! I just loveeeeeeeeeee Diane's lo!! LOVING the colors and her title just stands out so perfectly!!!

Loved these projects. Knowing that they were created using leftover bits and pieces from other projects gave me some great ideas. Looking forward to using the Kiss Me collection.
