Bella Blvd Studio Blog: Layouts On Wednesday

It's free-for-all layout day here on the Bella blog, and it just so happens that the designers scheduled for today all created layouts using the new Kiss Me collection! Stay on the lookout, as this fun collection is starting to show up in stores and online retailers.

It was love at first sight when I got my first glimpse of the “Kiss Me” collection, and as soon as it landed on my doorstep, I simply couldn’t wait to dig in. Typically, whenever I create a layout the photos or journaling come first, followed by the papers and embellishments. In this case however, everything revolved around the gorgeous colors and patterns within this fun & playful collection. As an added bonus, this collection was just perfect for a rare photo of me and the kiddos together that I’ve been just waiting for the perfect opportunity to use.

"Will You Be My Valentine?", by Yohko Takiguchi.

As I have mentioned before, my sons tried out the chocolate train kit on Valentine’s Day this year. We used chocolate pens as glue to assemble this kit. My eleven year old son warmed them up in a cup of hot water. I love beautiful polka dot paper from Kiss Me collection.

"They Love to Swing", by Becky Williams.

I am really enjoying working with the new Kiss Me collection! The color scheme was just right for scrapping these pictures of two of my girls during a recent play session outside of a chilly day. I cut bits of the chevron striped paper to use as arrows to draw emphasis to the pictures.

“Little Miss Smarty Pants”, by Becki Adams.

Here's another layout from the Kiss Me collection. I adore this collection. You'll see a lot more projects of mine from this collection because I'll use every last scrap from this collection. This layout is about my daughter and the silly smirk she has on her face in the photo. Sometimes she gets that sassy little look on her face and we call her "little miss smarty pants" Even though this is a collection geared toward Valentines day it's so versitile that I use it for everyday layouts as well.
