From all of us at Bella Blvd, we want to wish you and your families a very happy Thanksgiving! We all have so much to be thankful for in our lives, and today is all about really focusing in on those things and taking the time to really appreciate all that we have.

Thanksgiving is such a great Holiday! Handmade cards are the perfect way to let friends and family know you are thankful for them! For my card, I mixed several patterned papers from the Thankful Collection. For the focal image, I added a sunflower chipboard and sentiment sticker. For the final touch, I added some ribbon with a Thankful Flag.

I love everything about Autumn. The warm and cozy colors, beautiful leaves, and the promise of the Holidays that are yet to come! I wanted to incorporate all that I love about this season into a card. I started with some patterned paper and then layered on some muslin fabric. After I stitched that on, I added some cut out patterned leaves, a border, a row of hearts, and a pumpkin chipboard piece! For the final touch, I added some natural colored ribbon with a big wooden button.

"Happy Thanksgiving" card, by Gretchen McElveen.

Yay! It is finally Thanksgiving! And I can't wait for some turkey & dressing and green bean casserole! Here is a card to celebrate the holiday. I've got a little bit of everything on this one: patterned paper, lots of stickers, chipboard, and even a button as the center of the flower. I used a lot of foam adhesive to give this card some cool dimension. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

"Thank you" card, by Gretchen McElveen.

It never hurts to have a few extra 'thank you' cards on hand! I layered several stickers and patterned papers to create the background of this 5"x5" card. Then I added the "thank you" sticker from the Thankful Just Write Journaling Stickers as the sentiment and embellished with flowers cut out of a sheet of the Thankful patterned paper. Easy peasy! And then I added a bit of bling from my stash to give it some sparkle. Thanks for looking!

“Happy Fall” card, by Carina Lindholm.

The banner shaped I’ve used on this card is from the Chipboard icons sheet for the Thankful collection. I covered my card base in the leaf paper and tie some string around the top of the card. Then I adhered the banner pieced to the card using pop dots. I really love the warm colors in this collection.

“Life Is Good” card, by Carina Lindholm.

I like to make little landscapes on my cards. And that is so easy to do with all of Bella’s adorable cut outs and chipboard shapes. On this card I have a house and a cloud cut out from the cute cuts sheet and the trees and grass are chipboard pieces.

Ah how I love Thanksgiving and making cards like this with the Bella Blvd. Thankful collection! It’s such a glorious time of year! Is it just me or are you always amazed that it only takes minutes to gobble down a meal that took all day to cook and weeks to prepare? Enjoy!

Both my cards were fun to make and I drifted away from the standard size as well. I really loved the way the dot card turned out with the scattered buttons and the popped circles. I kept it pretty simple by adding a bit of stickles and some ink. The Thanks card I loved the edge with the border, and the krinkled paper that the word thanks was attached to. Both cards are simple but yet very much my style with the ink, distressed, popped items and always a little sprinkle of stickles! Hope you all enjoy your holiday!
