I just love seeing all of the fabulous cards that our Card Designer create for us each week! I love that they can do so much, and fit such a fun assortment of products on such a small little card base. Who wouldn't want to receive one of these cards to help brighten their day?
“Be Mine” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I truly adore the colors in the new Kiss Me collection. Especially that pop of navy blue! I chose a couple of the patterned papers for the background and embellished it with part of a border (from the Alpha & Bits) and a pink flower button. For the focal image, I used one of the new Kiss Me Journaling Stickers.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Flutter, True Love, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Borders & Cute Cuts; Button Market: Pink Flowers
“So In Love” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I wanted a softer look for my card, so I chose the pink chevron paper (from the new Kiss Me collection) along with the Sprinkles & Lace - Ice (from the Sophisticates collection). For the focal images, I chose two heart chipboard pieces. For the finishing touches, I added several sentiment stickers as well as a Hot Pink Button.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Just Write Journaling Stickers, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Flutter; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Ice; Ciao Chip Elements: Stars & Hearts; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers
"Hello" card, by Gretchen McElveen.
I am still loving the new Kiss Me line! I am using it to build my stash of basic greeting cards which has gotten low over the past few months. The Kiss Me line does not have to be just for your lovey-dovey projects!! Thanks for looking!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Flutter, True Love, Bouquet Kisses, Borders & Cute Cuts; Flags: Summertime; Designer Tape: Piggy Pink Stripe; Button Market: Pink Flowers; Sienna Chipboard Alphabets: Punch
"Hey" card, by Gretchen McElveen.
Here is another basic greeting card using the new Kiss Me line. I pulled out my large circle punches to use as the background for the sentiment on this card. And then I fussy cut a bunch of small flowers from the "Bouquet Kisses" sheet of patterned paper to use to embellish around the sentiment. Thanks for looking!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: True Love, Love Notes, Bouquet Kisses, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Family Dynamix: Quadrants
“Together 4-Ever” card, by Carina Lindholm.
I cut out some of the colorful circles that you can find on the True love sheet. I then punched holes around the edges of the circles and used brown thread to stitch around. At the center of the card I made a cluster of stickers, a button and some jewels.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: True Love, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Oyster; Buttons Market: Hot Pink Flowers
“You’re My Fave” card, by Carina Lindholm.
I covered my card base in green chevron designers tape. And for an extra fun touch I machine stitched along the edges of all the tape strips. I cut out the heart tree and decorated it with a cute pink crochet flower. I adhered the tree and the sentiment banner to the card using pop dots to give the card extra dimension.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Cute Cuts; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Chevron; Crochet Flowers: Poppy
“Congrats Couple” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
By keeping the focal point at the bottom 2/3 of this card really made the other 1/3 look lonely! When creating cards with cardstock, I like to spiff it up a bit by using an embossed pattern. A little piece of doily peeking out also helps to dress-up the embossed cardstock. For the bottom, I cut various papers into small strips, adhered to a background paper and then machine stitched them together.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Flutter, Love Notes, Borders & Cute Cuts, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Alpha+Bits Stickers; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream; Ciao Chip Elements: Trees; Crochet Flowers: Dahlia; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Dot
“Happy Birthday” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
I love the 3-D effect that was created by punching two stars into the brown paper and then applying it over the background paper with foam dots. I then hand-stitched buttons to the center of each star and then a round button, which made a nice bridge between the two! A few beads were sewn onto the cupcake to bring dimension to the sprinkles.
Supplies:
Birthday Boy: Borders, Toadilly Cool, Streamers, Cute Cuts; Button Market: Orange Stars, Blues; Designer Tape: Orange Stripe
“Thankful For You” card, by Kathy Martin.
“What I love most about my home is who I share it with.” I recently saw this phrase on Pinterest and as I was creating this card, I thought of it. I love the little houses in the Thankful collection. They are warm and inviting and make me think of love and family.
Supplies:
Thankful: Borders, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Flags: Thankful Flags 1
