We are so happy to hear that you're loving our new collection, Kiss Me, that we revealed on Wednesday! We are really excited about it, and we had a feeling you would be too. The new product has been arriving to all of our designers over the last week, and they have already been busy digging into their boxes and creating up lots of projects to share. For the rest of the week, we are going to show the new Kiss Me collection in action, on new layouts and cards!
“Ice Cream Mustache”, by Wendy Antenucci.
I have never scrapped with or about mustaches before, so I went looking in my pictures for something that might fit. When I saw this picture of my son's ice cream mustache I figured this would be the perfect time to try out the mustache trend! Even though the layout is about my son, I loved the pink chevron paper that I used for my background so with a little bit of blue and brown you have the perfect boy layout about his love of ice cream.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Flutter, True Love, Mustache Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream
“My Favorite”, by Jennifer Chapin.
I had two versions of this photo - color and black & white. Because the color version didn't match with the color scheme of the Kiss Me collection, I chose black and white and am really pleased with how it turned out! I loved using the True Love patterned paper as a starting point to embellish the right side of my layout. I used different punches, buttons and chipboard to highlight the circle pattern in the paper. I also made sure to repeat certain elements throughout to draw your eye around the page - can you see how I repeated the star and heart elements to create visual triangles?
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Love Notes, True Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Oyster; Sunshine & Happiness: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Blueberry; Ciao Chip Versatile Elements: Stars & Hearts; Designer Tape: Gulf Dot, Piggy Pink Stripe, Pickle Juice Chevron; Button Market: Stars, Hot Pink Flowers
“At The Fair”, by Kathy Martin.
Every year in October the hubs and I take a day off and go to the state fair while our son is in school. It’s a date day just for the two of us. The lovely new Kiss Me collection couldn’t be more perfect for documenting our special day. We’ve been married for 20 years now and share a very special and close relationship.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Bouquet Kisses, Love Notes, True Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Button Market: Checkers; Designer Tapes: Pickle Juice Chevron; Flags: Bugs; High Five Alphabets: Piggy Punch
"MR and MRS", by Jenny Evans.
The blues and pinks of this collection are just amazing! Just right for this photo of my husband and I at our wedding rehearsal. I used a variety of the coordinating alphas, and let the title be my journaling. All the love accents and embellishments were just the perfect touch!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Love Notes, True Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Punch, Blueberry; High Five Alpha Stickers: Piggy-Punch, Gulf, Blue High Fives; Designer Tape: Piggy Pink Stripe; Button Market: Pink Flowers
"So Good to See You", by Gretchen McElveen.
I am loving this new Kiss Me line! The colors in the picture on this layout (that is my husband with his brother and sister with their grandmother) are pretty neutral so it was easy to match up with the colors of the Kiss Me patterned papers. I cut out a strip of chevrons from the "Mustache Love" sheet of patterned paper to use as a border underneath the picture. The patterned paper behind the picture and journaling is the Sophisticates "Oyster" patterned paper- it coordinates perfectly with this line! And I couldn't resist fussy cutting a few small flowers from the "Bouquet Kisses" sheet to add just below the journaling. Thanks for looking!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Borders & Cute Cuts, Mustache Love, Bouquet Kisses, True Love, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Oyster; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream; Designer Tape: Pony Dot
“Sisters”, by Becki Adams.
The thing that I love most about this collection is that it's so versatile! You can use it for everyday projects as well as those special Valentines projects. I chose to document my two nieces and this collection worked fabulously to compliment these photos.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Bouquet Kisses, Mustache Love, Love Notes, Flutter, True Love, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Oyster; Sienna Chipboard Alphabets: Punch; Designer Tape: Piggy Pink Stripe; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers, Pink Flowers
“Crazy In Love” card, by Kathy Martin.
This sweet new Kiss me line put me in the mood to make a little paper heart pillow. I don’t know if you can tell by the photo that it’s a little puffy because it’s filled with a bit of cotton.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: True Love, Flutter, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Button Market: Pink Flowers
“Love You Forever” card, by Kathy Martin.
For this card I thought I’d try two-tone stitching. It’s something you can’t do with a sewing machine. At least I don’t think you can. Anyway, since I hand stitch my projects it’s easy enough to use more than one color.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Borders & Cute Cuts, Just Write Journaling Stickers; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers, Pink Flowers; Designer Tape: Yellow Chevron
"Hello” card, by Gretchen McElveen.
The Kiss Me line is not just for your lovey-dovey projects! The patterned papers and stickers are versatile enough to use for a variety of themes. Take this card for example: the Kiss Me line worked great for a very general greeting card that I am going to send to my grandmother! Thanks for looking!
Supplies:
Kiss Me: Borders and Cute Cuts, Mustache Love, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Button Market: Checkers; High Five Alpha Stickers: Brown-Cream
“I Love You” card, by Carina Lindholm.
I love clouds, and I like to use them on as many cards as I can. So I was happy to see cute cloud shapes on both papers and cut outs on this collection.
Supplies:
Kiss Me: True Love, Borders & Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Button Market: Hot Pink Flower
