We're moving our card day feature to Tuesday this week, for a very good reason. Tomorrow is our BIG reveal of our new mid-release collection, which we cannot wait to share with you!!! We will then spend a few days sharing brand new projects using our new collection, from our design team. Lots of exciting stuff!
“Happy Birthday To You” card, by Carina Lindholm.
I used the Birthday girl collection to make this colorful and fun card. I cut out the presents and adhered them on top of each other. To add more of a festive feel to the card I added some glitter to one of the presents.
Supplies:
Birthday Girl: Party Dress, Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Crochet Flowers: Daisies
“Birthday Boy” card, by Carina Lindholm.
I die cut three stars on a piece of white cardstock and adhered blue note paper on the back of the cardstock. To really highlight the stars I draw faux stitching along the edges of the stars. I covered the lower part of the card in orange chevron patterned paper and a blue scallop border.
Supplies:
Birthday Boy: Just A Note, About A Boy, Alpha+Bits Stickers
“Lovely” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
I love my leaf punch as I think every flower needs a leaf or two! For this card I created the leaves by adhering a bit of Decorative Tape to a piece of cardstock and then punched out. I did something similar with a chipboard tree (seen HERE) by covering with strips of tape and then machine stitching the seams together!
Supplies:
Flirty: Bits A Bella, Label Additions Stickers, Heart Throb Paper; Sophisticates: Sprinklers & Lace Plum Paper; Ciao Chip Elements: Stars & Hearts; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Chevron; Button Market: Hot Pink Flowers
“Original Robot” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I love tucking cards into my children's lunch boxes for them to find later in the day! I pulled out the Super Stud Label Additions paper and cut apart a few of the patterned strips and images. That robot is soooo cute and is sure to bring a smile to my son's face! I added some Bits A Bella (also from the Super Stud collection), a Sophisticates Ciao Chip, and an Orange Star button for embellishment. After I layered it all on a kraft base, I sponged the edges so that they would stand out a bit more.
Supplies:
Making The Team: Cute Cuts; Super Stud: Label Additions, Bits A Bella; Sophisticates Ciao Chip: Essentials Asparagus & Pickle Juice; Button Market: Orange Stars
“Boo” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I just love cute Halloween cards. Nothing too scary though. And Bella Blvd's bright and fun style is perfect for them! I combined three of the Sophisticates papers together (Plum, Oyster, & Apricot) to create the background for my card. I die cut the numbers (31) from some Making the Team paper. The sweet little pumpkin tag is from the Thankful Alpha & Bits. To finish the card, I added some alphabet stickers and some matching buttons!
Supplies:
Thankful: Alpha & Bits; Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace Plum, Sprinkles & Lace Oyster, Sprinkles & Lace Apricot; High Five Alphabet Stickers: Yellow; Making The Team: Quadrants; Button Market: Wood Mix, Orange Stars, Neutral Mix
“Spooky” card, by Shellye McDaniel.
I simply adore the characters from the "Too Cute To Spook" Collection! The little mummy guy looks as though he should be holding something, so I thought "banner!" I took two matching Stick Pin Flags and a Miniature Sticker and made a banner that was pretty quick and easy to do. Turn the two pins so that the pointy ends are facing each other. Wrap the tab from the Miniature Sticker over the pins and then attach to your card with foam dots on each piece. I tied on a couple of buttons to hide the 'pin' part ... fun!
Supplies:
Too Cute To Spook: The Boo Crew, Full Moon, Cute Cuts, Miniature Stickers; Button Market: Aqua Flowers; Flags: Birthday Boy 1, Birthday Boy 2; Designer Tape: Jail Bird
These are all beautiful!! LOVING the stars on Carina's second card!!!
