Sunshine & Happiness Projects

We hope that all of you are enjoying this holiday weekend and having a nice, relaxing Labor Day with friends and family, good food, and lots of sunshine! Seems like the perfect day to share some more Sunshine & Happiness projects from our CHA Designers!

“Fresh Florida Fruit”, by Brook Stewart.

I am crazy for all things washi tape and Bella has a ton of my favorites! How can you go wrong with chevron?! And with 2 brand new chevron colors this release, I was in heaven!! I just love all of the bright, bold colors and patterns and they went perfectly with these colorful fruity photos I took on our vacation to Florida this year!

“Sunshine”, by Sarah Klemish.

I started with a white cardstock background, layering pieces of patterned papers on the left side of the page. I used a circle cutter to create the large scallop border. After adding pictures I pop dotted the yellow star scallop sticker and Sienna Alpha title. I added flowers and a heart sticker and completed the layout with sewed down journaling blocks on the right side of the page.

"One Week", by Allyson Meinholz.

When doing this layout and using Sunshine & Happiness - I love this cherry paper but haven't used it yet!  And just having Alayna this photo was perfect with her little cherry outfit on. I did start the layout with the green pattern paper from Birthday Girl (party dress) and also using borders from Birthday Girl. I added the title with various sticker letters and chipboard letters. Then added an embellishment in the corner with layering a sticker with chipboard and a button with twine - then cut out and popped the cherry. My favorite added touch was her name white on white.

"Friend" card, by Gretchen McElveen.

"My favorite thing about the Sunshine & Happiness line? The flowers! I can't get enough of them! I thought the flowers would make a fun, summer-y card to send to a friend. I adhered the flowers here with lots of foam adhesive to give the card a lot of dimension. This is the 2nd or 3rd card that I have made with a purple/red color scheme...I think I like it! Thanks for looking!"

"Together" card, by Allyson Meinholz.

For this card, I decided to use multiple designer tapes for the background. I then took a piece of pink pattern paper and used my Cricut die cut machine to cut out a heart. I adhered it with pop dots and layered it over the top of the designer tapes. I added a few buttons to finish it off.

"Swim Fun Mini Album", by Becky Williams.

I don't do mini albums very often but thought it would be fun to create this mini using pictures of one of our very favorite summertime activities- swimming. I used a chipboard album from Maya Road, added patterned papers to each page and then trimmed 2x3 pictures to fit each page. I then embellished each page with Miniatures stickers, chipboard and Designer Tapes.

Over the top AMAZING! Love the washi tape frames in the Fresh Florida Fruit layout and the very fun play on words with the cherryish layout (I'm a big fan of the cherry print paper)....And those happy cards and Becky's mini album are adorable!
