“Happy 2nd Birthday Sophie”, by Melissa Stinson.
I've had these photo from my niece's birthday party just waiting (im)patiently for the new Bella Blvd Birthday Girl collection to arrive. From the bright pink letters that match her dress to the fun cupcake and birthday present motifs, this collection is just perfect for documenting her fun day. I mixed the word "happy" from the Ciao Chip Icons in the collection with the Sienna Punch alphas to give my title a mixed-up, festive appearance.
Supplies:
Birthday Girl: Sugar Rush, Dancing Queen, Celebrate, Miles of Smiles, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Flags 2, Icons; Button Market: Purple Flowers, Hot Pink Flowers; Designer Tape: Punch Chevron, Piggy Pink Stripe; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Punch; High Five Alpha Stickers: Red
“Tricking The Tooth Fairy”, by Megan Klauer.
We all have those silly moments in our everyday. The ones we think, "I'll never forget that". This was one of those moments which reaffirmed why I blog & why I scrapbook. I blogged about this funny little moment back last April when I was participating in The Week in the Life challenge. I was so glad I did. Now, I will have this page to look back on and giggle about how Chase decided he would outwit the tooth fairy. I can't wait to share this story with his kids someday!
Supplies:
Birthday Boy: Eat Cake, Borders, Cute Cuts, Chipboard Icons; Sophisticates: Short Stories, Calendars; Miniatures Stickers: Card Sentiments; Ciao Chip Elements: Borders, Stars & Hearts; Sienna Chipboard Alphas: Blueberry, Pony
“Family Turkey Day”, by Vivian Masket.
The new Thankful line has me eager for crisp fall weather and the rustle of leaves under my feet. Given that, I decided to create a layout with photos I still hadn't scrapped from last Thanksgiving. I hand cut three small turkeys from the Borders patterned paper and used them as embellishments on my layout, letting two of them peek in from the edges. This added a subtle Thanksgiving feel to my layout without it being over the top. The word strip from the Borders paper and two different colors of Designer Tape help create visual flow.
Supplies:
Thankful: Perfect Day, Burlap, Borders, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Chipboard Icons; Designer Tape: Pony Dot, Pickle Juice Chevron; Flags: Thankful 2
“How did this Happen?”, by Kimberly Neddo.
It's been so crazy to me lately, how fast my children are growing, that I wanted to do a layout expressing my amazement. I took an older photograph of my son when he was a toddler, and used a fun action and border effect from Instagram on my phone, to create a matching effect with the photographs. I love using the High Five alphabet sets to create fun Title work too. My title is quite lengthy, so I love inter-mixing the big and small letters together. I also really love the grays in these collections as they are more of a grayish brown that can go with just about anything!
Supplies:
Hello Beautiful: Cute Cuts; Baby Boy: Mamma's Boy; Making the Team: Borders; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White; Mr. Boy: Alpha+Bits Stickers; Buttons: Feminine Mix, Masculine Mix
“Picture Perfect”, by Julie Johnson.
These pictures were taken when my daughter went off to college 4 years ago. Where did the time go as she will be graduating in December. Time sure does fly! I liked the "outdoor" feel of the Thankful collection and figured it would work well for these photos that were taken in the mountains located near the college campus. I die cut some leaves from a few of the patterns, spritz them with water, and then wrinkled them up to add some dimension and texture to the layout. I love the "checkers" buttons because they match everything and it was perfect for natural feel of the layout.
Supplies:
Thankful: Perfect Day, Turkey Tracks, Burlap, Our Spot, Borders, Cute Cuts, Chipboard Icons, Alpha+Bits Stickers; Button Market: Checkers

Love the use of white space on the fun birthday girl layout, the story behind Megan's layout, the Then and Now on Kimberly's, the beautiful use of the Finally Fall collection on Julie's layout and then there's Vivians layout... I am head over heals in love. Love the use of the tapes, those cute little turkey's that form the visual triangle and the clean & simple design! Great job ladies! :)
