We have big stuff planned for you this week, and we are so excited to get things going! Bella Blvd is teaming up with Core'dinations, for a week full of inspiration. We have a group of our Bella designers that have mixing Core'dinations wonderful cardstocks into our projects. And Core'dinations designers have been busy mixing Bella's products into their projects. We have loads of projects to share with you, so let's get started!
“She Lifts You Up”, by Kimberly Neddo.
I was having fun going through old photograph folders and came across these photographs. I have used them before in a layout, but a couple of years later I'm able to see something different in that time period, This was when we lost my Mother in law to cancer, and these photographs really show the amazing ability my youngest daughter has on lifting spirits. It was a hard time, and she still managed to make our hearts smile through it all. The circles around this design emphasize on the connection we all have with each other. I loved the colors with the orange, greens and blues and grays, and how the brightness complimented the grays. Again, another way to encompass light in a dark situation in life.
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Mama's Boy, Baby Blue; Sunshine & Happiness: Popsicle Kisses; Button Market: Aqua Flowers; High Five Alphabet Stickers: Black-White
“Happy Father's Day” card, by Kimberly Neddo.
I enjoy taking bright colors and giving them a masculine look. So many of Bella Blvd products can be mixed together, and I LOVE the versatility with all the lines and how they come together.
Supplies:
Baby Boy: Mama's Boy; Sophisticates: Miniatures Family; High Five Alphabet Stickers: Black-White; Designer Tape: Pickle Juice Dot, Teal Stripe; Flags: Boy, Cat
“She Loves Bath Time”, by Megan Klauer.
I love the Core’dinations aqua & pink dots paper. It was the perfect compliment to the Baby Girl line. A few strips of Designer Tapes & lots of punched circles to mimic the "bubble bath" photo created a quick and easy design.
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Daddy's Girl, Pretty in Pink, It's A Girl, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Alpha+Bits Stickers, Chipboard Icons, Miniatures Stickers; Button Market: Pink Flowers, Aqua Flowers; Designer Tapes: Teal Stripe, Yellow Chevron
“You Are Wonderful” card, by Sheri Feypel.
Every now and then I live on the edge creating an odd sized card. This card is a 5X5 square. I started with the dotted cardstock by Core'dinations and added some of the Baby Girl patterns to create a "girly" card that can be used for several different occasions.
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Snuggly Safari, Baby Cakes, Borders, Alpha+Bit Stickers
“Sweet Heart” card, by Vivian Masket.
I created the hearts on this card by using the Stars & Hearts Ciao Chip as a texture stencil. I had used the outer aqua heart frame shape on a layout and so I just had the inner heart left on the chipboard sheet. The negative space left by the frame heart shape mimicked the heart shapes on the Daddy's Girl paper, so I used it as a texture stencil with coordinating colors of Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted cardstock. I placed a yellow piece of the cardstock over the Ciao Chip sheet and sanded to reveal the inner and outer heart shapes. I repeated this process with pink and aqua cardstock and then cut out all three hearts. I adhered a piece of Daddy's Girl patterned paper to a sanded yellow Core'dinations Tillie Dot Spotted cardstock card base, layered the hearts I'd created with cardstock over the patterned paper, and added Designer Tape, a Flag, and baker's twine to finish the card. I love the contrast here between the crisp clean hearts on the Daddy's Girl paper and the textured heart embellishments created with the Core'dinations cardstock.
Supplies:
Baby Girl: Daddy's Girl; Sophisticates: Stars & Hearts Ciao Chip; Designer Tape: Teal Stripe, Pink Stripe; Flags: Girl
