Happy National Scrapbook Day everyone!
Are you scrapping today? Cropping with friends? Taking part in online scrapbooking activities? I hope you're having tons of fun, no matter how you decide to celebrate the day. I asked each and every one of our Design Team members to give you a glimpse into their scrap spaces today. Every day on the blog, we share our projects with you. Today, we want to show you where those projects come to life! Each designer is also going to share their favorite project that they have created, as part of their design team year so far.
I have split today's shares into FIVE posts, that will go up throughout the day. So you'll want to keep checking back in with us. When the last post of the day rolls around, we will be doing a HUGE giveaway as well. It's a HUGE one, and it's not just Bella goodies ;)
We have checked in with our Local Artista Designers, our Altered Project Designers, and our Card Designers. Next up, we are learning more about where the first half of our Layout Designers create and what their favorite Bella projects are!
My scrap space is in the corner of my basement, and also serves as my home office. I have three main areas: 1) My scrap cube storage, which is where I keep paper, cardstock, stamps, etc. The top of the cubes are covered in baskets that hold magazines and idea books as well as larger/taller products. 2) My IKEA Expedit bookshelf, which is where I store smaller embellishments (with one cube reserved for work books and papers). 3) My desk, which houses my computer, printer, Silhouette CAMEO, and a storage cube that I use for the most recent paper lines from the companies I design for (currently all of the Winter CHA Bella Blvd paper is in there!). My big secret? I have boxes and boxes of layouts stored in the guest bedroom. It's been years since I put anything into an album. Someday I will get around to it!
My favorite Bella Blvd project to date is the one I created for the December newsletter: Santa's World. I had a lot of fun playing with punches as I created this layout and love how I was able to easily combine products from different Bella Blvd lines since Stephanie designs her products with a consistent color palette. The end result was a fun, colorful, and whimsical layout that I love!

My space is tiny at just 10x11 and packed with some of my favorite things. Right now it's painted a serene aqua and accented with mostly black furniture. Most of my storage is open because if I don't see it, I forget about it! This room has gone through many changes throughout the years to make it functional and pretty. I'm starting to outgrow it, so I feel some changes coming on in the near future.
My favorite Bella projects is probably one of the simplest and quickest that I've created. Bella does color beautifully and I love the stark white background with pops of color and patterns.

Well, I must say when I look at these photos I absolutely WISH my room looked like this now. This is my scrap room the day it was completed. It's so clean and organized and I vowed to keep it this way! When I started my own business 3 years ago my very sweet hubby decided I needed my own scrap space. He built me my very own scrap office/workroom behind our home. I LOVE it! This is only two views of the room, but there is also another wall of storage and my office desk area with my computer, printers, and electronic cutters. It's the perfect workspace! Of course it didn't stay looking like this. Now it's chaos and looks like a bomb went off in it! Maybe he secretly wanted my mess out of the house, you think? Just kidding, he cleans for me when it gets really bad. I got it made, my own scrap space and a handy picker upper!
This is my favorite layout for a few reasons. I LOVE this collection. I think it's the colors. The combination is different and I love the prints, the stickers, and the miniature stickers. This layout came together with very little thought because I am so inspired to create using these papers. I also love this layout because it has photos on it when my children were younger. I love remembering the special moments we shared and it brings back so many fond memories of my days on the ski slopes with them. Now that they are older, off at college and doing their own thing, I don't get many moments like this. They grow up way too fast!

I love that I have a space of my own and love that I can work on a project and just step away from it if I need to. My room used to be our dining room, so this is such a nice change! In my room I have a lot of items that bring back memories. A yellow chair that used to sit in my grandparents dining room, a desk my husband & I bought at a yardsale for $5 and refinished, a drafting table from my husband {then boyfriend} when I was going to college, a paper tower from my LSS that closed down last year, & last but not least my grandpa's old trunk where I keep all my bella blvd goodies.
The "I heart summer" layout wins the title of my favorite Bella layout so far simply because it makes me smile. I love how the contrast of the black & white photo looks against the bright colors of the Sunshine & Happiness collection. I had fun with this layout and it feels like "me".

I work from home part time, so I am lucky to have a dedicated room which is half for work and half for scrapbooking. I am always trying to find better ways to store my scrapbooking supplies, but at the moment am finding a combination of cropper hoppers for paper and cardstock and boxes and baskets for embellishments works well. I just wish it looked as tidy as this at the moment!
I love this layout for a number of reasons. Firstly the photo – I really miss this stage now that Benson is 7 and it was lovely to go back a scrap a baby photo. Secondly, the Baby Boy range is just so cute and worked so well with this photo. The range uses great colors that I just love and I find are really versatile. Lastly, the design – I really like the fall of stars down the right hand side of the photo and how it draws your eye to the title.

When I bought my home there wasn't a real scrap room, my actual scrap space was the kitchen. To have my scrap room I have transformed the kitchen in a kitchenette! I feel quiet and relaxed when I am here and all the bad thoughts are far away from me.
I love this page because it has a meaning very important! I absolutely love the fact that I have used many Bella boulevard products and mixed them together. I love the circular photo, every single detail of it, I look and look at it a lot of times andt makes me smile always.
