Welcome to our first ever Tuesday Inspiration day on the blog. Inspiration is all around us, and it's so interesting to see how a group of designers can all start with the same image, and be inspired by it in so many different ways. Our first inspiration piece is based on color. I choose this image because of the gorgeous fall colors. I put this image out to some of our layout and card designers, and I love what they came up with, using these colors as their inspiration.

"Fall Wonder" card, by Deanna Misner.
I was inspired by the colors of this inspiration piece. No surprise there, since I LOVE fall colors. So I chose to make a very fall card by cutting out 2 maple leaves and 1 oak leaf with my die-cut machine. I bent them a bit to give them a little more authentic feel, and then stacked them together. For the sentiment, I used the Sophisticates mini alphabet stickers, which I can't get enough of! They were the perfect touch for the chipboard banner too!
Supplies:
Finally Fall: Bliss, Leaf Pile, Borders, Just Write Journaling sticker, Chipboard Icons; Quattrofina Alpha Stickers: Mustard and Apricot, Spinach and Pickle Juice
"Cantina Laredo", by Melissa Stinson.
This gorgeous color palette is an obvious choice for fall, so of course the rebel in me wanted to find another use for it! The colors also work well as a "fiesta" scheme, so I used it as inspiration for this layout about dinner out at one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. One of my favorite uses for patterned paper is trimming out single elements to use as embellishments, so I cut the doily patterns from the Socialite "Dance Circle" paper to use on this page.
Supplies:
Sophisticates: Sprinkles & Lace McIntosh, Sprinkles & Lace Brownie, Essentials Asparagus and Pickle Juice; Simply Simona Chipboard Alphas: Pickle Juice; Family Dynamix: Alpha + Bits; Socialite: Dance Circle; Plastino: Trellis; Estate Sale: Linens; Christmas Wishes: Alpha + Bits; Camped Out: Label Additions
"Bakugan", by Kim Arnold.
The image that we were provided with as inspiration was just perfect for these photos. Because the different Bella ranges work so perfectly together, I had no problems selecting bits and pieces from a variety of ranges to bring the layout together. The Super Stud range provided the perfect embellishments to finish off this 100% boy page!
Supplies:
Super Stud: Eclipse, Label Additions; Sophisticates: Short Stories; Finally Fall: Ciao Chip Icons, Bliss; Tail Waggers & Cat Naps: Alpha + Bits; Sophisticates Ciao Chip: Essentials Apricot & Banana; Simply Simona Chipboard Alphas: Pickle Juice, McIntosh
"A Day At The Farm" card, by Kathy Martin.
The rich, warm colors of our inspiration photo remind me of a beautiful fall day at our local farm and the Bella Blvd Finally Fall collection! I love how the Miniatures and Alpha + Bits stickers provide lots of fun accents and phrases for my projects!
Supplies:
Finally Fall: Autumn Splendor, Apple Holler, Miniatures, Just Write, Alpha+Bits
"Fun Together With My Darlings", by Kimberly Neddo.
I really LOVED this inspiration piece, from the color combination, to the banner tags coming out of the photograph. I found that the Finally Fall line worked perfectly with this piece, and the photograph I chose for this as well. I was really inspired by the banners too, and decided I needed to incorperate them into this layout as well. I'm so happy with how it all came together. Using ads to inspire us in this creative outlet, is always such a great way to get our creative juices going, and this was just what I needed.
Supplies:
Finally Fall: Apple Holler, You're a Hoot, Bliss, Borders, Autumn Splendor, Miniatures; Ciao Chip: Family Dynamix; Simply Simona Chipboard Alphas: Pickle Juice
"Life Is Good", by Loredana Bucaria.
Do you love the autumn colors? I have to be honest. I didn't like these colors very much, before I started scrapbooking! Since then, all the colors appear to me in a very different way! I couldn’t see using these these warm colors, and yet, here they are, on one of my pages! This page will belong in my 365 days album. I love to scrap the everyday moments. Lovely everyday moments during the year, and not just the big occasions. This page celebrates a Saturday evening at home with friends and family. I love cooking for them and hanging out, chatting and laughing. The inspirational idea was perfect for my layout. The sketch: awesome! The colors of my picture were perfect to use the colors of the image!
I love to create cute little details on my pages. I am crazy for the little words stickers! The cut outs are so cute and I completely fell in love with them! I've created different sizes of banners and love the way they look on my page. My trick for this challenge is to try some colors that you didn't think to use! Have a warm fall day!
Supplies:
Winter wonder: Toasty; Finally Fall: Borders, Bliss, Apple Holler, Ciao Chip Icons; Spring Flings and Easter Things: Sunny Days; Estate sale: Linens; Family Dynamix: Alpha+Bits; Sophisticates: Miniatures Family, Ciao Chip Essentials Brownie & Champagne; Lovely Dovey: Borders N' Blocks; Baby Blooms-A-Bella: Saffron; Plastino Stamps; Hello Beautiful: Alpha+Bits; Camped Out: Carla Mudpie
We hope you can find some inspiration by these colors as well, or even by one of the projects that our designers have shared today. We would also love it, if you shared your inspired-by projects with us. It's always fun for us to see what you're creating! Feel free to leave a comment here, with a link to your project. Or share it with everyone over on our Facebook Page.

Wow! These are awesome as usual! Laura- I read your blog regularly and am just wondering if any of your designers will be doing two page designs. I know you do sometimes. That is all I scrap and have recently fell in love with Bella Blvd, and have bought all of the recent lines and just have to find the midseason releases in stores! I would love to see two page ideas! :)

great question carrie! i will let our layout designers know that there's been interest in two page layouts. i know it's not the norm for a lot of designers. even i'm guilty of only making them, when i'm told to do them. lol! which means, maybe i need to tell them to make two pagers ;)
