Day 5:

"The Family Tree" Mini Album

For my mini I used Bella Blvd's Estate Sale Collection. I used primarily the Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive, Zap Dots and the Quick Fix Permanent Adhesive Runner. I love how sticky the Helmar adhesives are. I'm confident that all of my product will remain on the pages of my mini album. On the cover I also used the Scrap Dots while allowing them to harden a bit before I put the dots on the ends of my stick pins to cover the sharpness and added glitter for sparkle.

Day 4:

Spring Card Tutorial

1. Card size is A2, 4.25" x 5.5" (card base)

2. Cut background, 4x5.25", ink edges, adhere using Helmar's Quick Fix Permanent Adhesive Runner to the card base.

3. Using Bella Blvd patterned paper from the Flirty Collection, cut squares of 5 different patterns. Ink edges and adhere to background with Helmar's Quick Fix Permanent Adhesive Runner. Refer to photo of the card and leave one area black, that's where the butterfly will be placed.

4. Stamp 2 butterflies and cut them out. Using the Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, adhere both butterflies together in the middle, at the body of the butterfly.

5. Make antennae out of some jewelry wire and glue those down, again with the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive. I like this adhesive because it bonds with paper, fabric, plastic, leather and more.

6. Apply a dot of Helmar Scrap dots, Acid Free 3-Dimensional on each of the wings of the bottom butterfly. Press the wings of the top butterfly down on the Scrapdots until you have them at the height you want. Once that is dry, go ahead and adhere the completed butterfly, using the 450 Quick Dry Adhesive, to the background, lining it up with the antennae.

7. To pop up on e of the sentiments and the heart, I used Helmar ZapDots. I used the Scrap dots for another one of the sentiments and was able to make it a little lower than when I used the ZapDots.

I love using the Scrap Dots because you can have the layers at any height that you want.

8. I had a great time trying out all these different adhesives, Thank you HELMAR!!!

Day 3:

"Frame Hanger"

My project is a frame/hanger that I decorated with Bella using Helmar glue. I turned it into an awards holder for my daughter's swim ribbons and medals.   

I used the Helmar tape runner to adhere the paper to the frame. A good sticky solid tape that is holding the paper on well. The liquid Scrap Dots was a great product to fill the circles in the felt ribbon to secrurly adhere the "pool" Ciao Chip^tm letters. I was able to squish the glue dot down so that the chipboard fell at the exact right height and even with the ribbon. 

I doubled up two of the ZapDots under each of the center pennants to raise them up to be level with the rest of the frame. I like the thick chunkiness of the dots and that they adhered well to each other and the products. 

My favorite Helmar product was the Premium Craft Glue. I used it to adhere the felt ribbon, the chipboard, and to give an extra stick to the chipboard stickers since the project will be hanging on the wall. The Craft Glue reminded me of a hot glue in a cold glue format. It dried quickly and held firm. I also like the cap nib and how it pushes old glue out to prevent clogging! Thanks Helmar!

 

"Miles of Smiles"

By: Allyson MeinholzOn this layout I used quite a bit of the Helmar products. I used both the black and white Zapdots for dimension. I did try the GemStone glue for some Bling also.

I used the Acid Free Glue to adhere the 2 Blooms A Bella flowers together and then finished it with using hte Scrap Dots for dimension. I really like the Scrap Dots to make a dimensional glue dot anywhere and any size. 

  

 

Day 2:

"Flower-Filled Day" Greeting Card

The Zapdots were great for adding a little dimension to the card! I also liked that the Zapdots came in different sizes. I was able to pop up the skinny strip on the front of the card without having to cut the Zapdot in half. 

The Helmar tape runner was easy to use and super sticky! Great for any size paper!

"World's Best Dad" Greeting Card

By: Allyson MeinholzFor this card I used the Helmar tape runner. I thought it was very sticky and smooth-rolling. I actually think I have used it before, it was very familiar! I also used the black Zapdots...love that they are black. Thought they were a lot less noticeable than the white ones. (I didn't know there were black ones out there!)

National Scrapbooking Week of Inspiration!

 

Back at CHA Winter, I met Tracy from Helmar Adhesives. She's such a doll, so of course I said yes when she asked if our Design Teams could partner together during National Scrapbooking Week! So after a bunch of products were exchanged, my Bella Artistas went right to work! This week we will bring you some tutorials, testimonials and inspiration with both Bella and Helmar products!

"Friends" Mini Album

I used the Quick Fix Permanant Adhesive Runenr to glue all my pages together for my mini album, and to attach all my photos. 

I used the white Zapdots to pop up all of my embellishment cardstock stickers. 

 

 

 

 

I really liked the adhesive runner the best out of all the adhesives. I felt it to be very sticky and easy to use. I tried all the products, even if they weren't used on the album. Never hurts to play with the new products! When I tried the Gemstone Glue, I loved it because it doesn't cloud the gemstones! Great feature!

Here's a Great Challenge of You: Grab your Bestest Friend in the Whole Wide World and do a fun photo shoot together! It's our BFFs that know everything about us! Creating a super cute mini would be fun and simple!
