Stitch a border on a layout.
I used a template to stitch the flourish border across the top of this layout. I wanted the color of the floss to standout from the paper, so I used a bright pink. Bella Materials Used:

I am a really messy scrapper and I had to clean up to get these photos ;)
This is my wonderful desk. Most of the time it is covered with stuff and I only have a 6x6" space to work with :) (Why is that we always do that to ourselves?)This space holds my sewing machine and most of my magazines and books.
The newest addition, EZ View desktop that I won on a blog! I thought it was this little 12x12" glass top that you put on top of your desk. Imagine my surprise when this huge thing arrived! Honestly, I had no idea what to do with it. I am glad that I was able to use it.
I bought two shelves to hold the desktop, perfect for extra storage. There is one more desk in here that you can't see and it holds my computer, printer and it's my little office.
I am lucky to have my own room that grew from a very small bookshelf to what it is today. I try to keep everything organized in plastic containers and plastic drawer carts. They all pull out so I can have them near by when I am working.

"I love using clear stamps, they are my favorite addition to any project. Therefore, this assignment was perfect for me! I stamped the circle rim only from "December 25" stamp first. It's really easy using a small ink pad. After that, I stamped the trees and punched my circle with a scalloped circle punch. IF you don't feel comfortable stamping directly on the page this is a great way to try new stamps and play. Some of the trees are "stamped off". I inked the stamp and stamped once on a scrap piece of paper before stamping the main image.
My name is Daniela Dobson. I grew up in Croatia. When I was 14, I moved to Texas to live with my Dad. I still live in Dallas, with my husband, Peter, and our little box, Alex, who is 21 months. I graduated college with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and I worked in an operating room until Alex was born. Now, my days are filled taking care of him and I am grateful that I am able to stay at home and watch him grow.
My love for art started at an early age and continues today. Serious paper crafting starting about 6 years ago when my cousin had a baby girl. I haven't stopped since. I love to make quick projects during the day while my son naps.
I don't know what my style is. I change things up constantly. I love mixing different papers and patterns. I get overwhelmed with too many things, so I like to start with three or four things that go together (or not) and go from there. I love to work with scraps or whatever is left over on my messy desk, especially for cards.
I love sketches and I love to draw. A sketch is my starting point, most of the time. I draw sketches from my old work, magazines, clothes, food packaging, etc. The fun part is that you can use the same sketch over and over and it will always look different!
I have always kept a record of my life, through journaling and photos. Scrapbooking allows me to combine those two. I don't want to forget the important and not so important moments. I hope that through scrapbooking and making cards I can accomplish just that! :)
