We are back for our last day of our team up with Scrapbook Adhesives, as we bring you a week full of inspiration. Scrapbook Adhesives will be sharing projects from their designers, featuring our Bella Blvd products, over on their blog this week. And we have a group of our Bella designers that have been incorporating their fabulous adhesives into their projects, which we will be sharing right here, all week long.
Welcome to Flashback Friday! Sometimes we get so caught up in using our newest Bella collections that we forget about all of the older collections that we still love and can find so many uses for. We know that so many of you have these same collections in your stash as well, and thought it would be fun to "flash back" and be inspired by them once again!
"You Are My Sunshine", by Lisa Dickinson.
I love revisiting older supplies and Bella Blvd has some of my favorites! Since all of their color ways remain the same from collection to collection, it’s so easy to mix and match the new with the old. On this page, I pulled out my collection of designer tapes and mixed them with a few strips of patterned paper to create a colorful background. To add dimension atop the stripes, I used Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares to pop up the elements layered over my background. The larger squares are perfect for photos and the smaller ones make stickers, buttons and chipboard stand out. I used some of the older Candid Cards from Lucky Starz and the crochet hearts as finishing touches to this colorful page.
Classic Calendars: Peep Calendar, Pickle Juice Calendar, Bell Pepper Calendar, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Treasures & Text; Tiny Tots: Sweet & Sassy, Trinkets; Freestyle Sophisticates: Freestyle Saltwater; Lucky Starz: Candid Cards; Simply Spring: Treasures & Text; Designer Tape: Polka Dot Combo Pack, Teal Stripe, Cotton Candy Chevron, Pickle Juice Dot, Cotton Candy Stripe, Red Stripe, Cotton Candy Dot, Pony Stripe, Punch Chevron, Navy Dot; Crochet Hearts: Cotton Candy, Orange, Saltwater
"T Is For Teddy", by Kristine Davidson.
My little nephew loves his teddy. He takes him everywhere - shopping, the beach, to bed and really everywhere. I wanted to create a page that was boyish using all kinds of colors. Since this is Flashback Friday I decided to take Simply Spring and the Tiny Tots collection and cut up some cute little animals and extras and make my title a bit larger and more prominent including the word teddy. I love how this turned out!!! Scrapbook Adhesives is in partnership with Bella Blvd this week which is awesome! I have been using my EZ Runner and 3D foam squares since 2006! Love them and would recommend them to anyone that scrapbooks!
Tiny Tots: Toy Chest, Flashcards M-X, Borders, Treasures & Text; Simply Spring: Sunshine, Gingham, Treasures & Text; Ciao Chip Element: WhatNots; Amorie Chipboard Alphas: Blueberry, Brownie
