Fall is most definitely in the air. For just a little bit longer around here, that is. It seems to burst on the scene and depart just as quick. The opportunities to capture this beautiful season is short. But the stories, for me, are always brilliant.
This is Jamie, and I was inspired by the changing leaves found in these images to embellish with lots and lots of leaves. I cut an abundance from pattern paper using a digital die cut and made sure I had plenty to choose from.
After placing the photos in place, I simply tucked leaves in a random fashion in and around the pictures. This was so much fun. You know how you just loose yourself in a project and story? Yeah. That's what happened here. Good thing I have leaves left over. May need to play some more.
The Oh My Stars Washi Stickers were great compliments to my story here. I love how they blended into the white cardstock.
I knew I wanted Tabbies to share in the love with the cut leaves. Since I was using a couple patterns from Oh My Stars already, they seemed like the perfect compliment.
The Tabbies were attached to the sides and tops of the photos. They were great to help give a bit of definition to the picture from the multiplicity of leaves. Plus they are just so dang cute.
Fall leaves and colors definitely captured here. Even with a little extra help from Bella pattern paper. I love the creativity this season creates and all the endless possibilities that Bella papers bring to the story.
