Hi everyone! If you're in the United States, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! For everyone else, Happy Friday! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the entire year and I'm not quite ready to give it up. (Well, I will probably start decorating for Christmas tomorrow, but that's besides the point! Ha.)
I think it is so very important to take a few minutes and go through the things each of us have to be thankful for in our lives. Turning these lists into scrapbook page is just fun and creative and helps me to think on my many blessings just a little longer.
For today's scrapbook page, I first made a list of everything I could think of that I was grateful for this morning. This isn't a perfect list I'm sure, but it was a good practice of just typing the first thing that came to my mind.
I then opened up photoshop and got into the zone. I like to get all my papers placed first and then I add my clusters. Before long, my page was looking like this:
Next, I started piling on the elements- adding drop shadows as I went. This is my favorite part of the entire process and really adds a lot to the page!
After a few more editions- I'm calling my page finished!
I love how this kit had a ton of different elements which allowed me to really pile them on. Drop shadows help to add decision and make my page look like it should be a heavy paper page.
Even more important- I finished this page and felt truly grateful for all the many blessings in my life and appreciate for the Thanksgiving season!
