One of the things I most look forward to each year, is seeing my children's faces as they wake on Christmas morning and discover that Santa has been! The sight of the Christmas tree with all of the presents piled underneath is just so magical! Last year I snapped a couple of photos before the tearing open of presents and the Holly Jolly Christmas collection matched them perfectly!
I knew before I even started this layout that I wanted to use some of the cute die cuts from the Paper Pieces. I mean . . . look at those adorable reindeer!
Starting with my white background, I layered up some patterned paper from the 6 x8 Paper Pad as well as a couple of tags and tabs behind them. That left me a space of either side of the photo cluster to add the Paper Pieces!
I also added some of the sticker phrases from the Fundamentals sheet, raised on pop dots for interest. The little deer on either side are both facing in to look at the photos!
For my title, I simply used stickers from my Bella Blvd stash in coordinating colors. I felt like the background needed a bit of interest so I used my sewing machine to stitch a few large circles behind my centre cluster. A few flicks of mist finished it off nicely!
I hope when my children are older, they remember these magical moments of Christmas! It truly is my favorite time of year, with all its traditions and celebrations! I hope you find time to savor the moments that you love the best over the coming weeks - I know I will be!
