All this week, we will continue to provide you with endless inspiration with never-before-seen projects that were featured in our CHA Winter booth display. Our Creative Team has been very busy creating oodles of project ideas with all of the new collections and products, and we are excited to finally share them with you!
“Egg Hunt”, by Jennie McGarvey.
I'd like to know what is happier, cuter and more cheerful than a sweet spring layout? I cannot think of one single thing! That is why I'm so excited to have this lavender squirrel paired with my youngest son on a fine spring day, hunting for eggs. So very sweet!

“Happy Easter Memories”, by Heather Leopard.
When I think of Spring I think of all the beautiful flowers that pop up everywhere. For this Easter layout, I wanted to create flowers clusters out of hearts and sprinkle them around the page. To do so, I cut strips of paper and then folded it in half. Using one small heart as a guide I hand cut all the hearts. You can use a die cut machine but I wanted to demonstrate that this can be done without one. Next, I left some hearts folded in half and then opened others. I added them in a circle to form the flowers and then stitched over them to adhere them to the page. I left space to include 3 photos of my daughter searching for eggs from the Easter Bunny. And of course, the title is a combination of chipboard and Chip Scripts.

“May Flowers” cards, by Laurie Schmidlin.
The pretty pastel colors in the new Sweet Sweet Spring collection has me longing for warmer temperatures! I started with some patterned paper, and then layered on some elements from the Daily Details paper as well as some of the new Paper Pieces. In addition to the flowers from the Paper Pieces, I added a chipboard flower from the Ciao Chip Icons. I embellished the card with a Baby Girl Cute Clip and hearts from the new Illustrated Faith Enamel Hearts.

“Bee Happy” card, by Heather Leopard.
I absolutely love the buzzing bees in this spring collection. While I stay clear of them in real life, I think I used every one of them up from this collection in various projects. This entire design was inspired by the single die cut. I love the sentiment and as I was laying it out, I knew I wanted to portray the bees buzzing around the card. The rest of the design was a combo on borders to bring it all together. I hope to brighten someone's days soon with this card.

“Happy Easter”, by Jennie McGarvey.
There's something special about opening the mail box and finding a handmade greeting card. How wonderful to find a cute little Easter scene on a small little canvas.
