Today's feature is all about mixing & matching Bella's collections. One of the great things about our collections is that you'll find the same colors throughout, whether you're using an older collection from a year or two years ago (or more!) or a newer collection that you just got your hands on. While it's so convenient to pull out a single collection and work from just that assortment of products, it can also be a lot of fun to mix and match between two, three, or even more collections.
“Fun In The Snow”, by Christin Grønnslett.
Mixing and matching collections is fun and in this layout I picked out 4 collections for this winter layout. I had made a white mixed media background, but wanted to add a border. To get extra contrast I added first a black and white striped paper from the Color Chaos collection and for the outer layer I picked out a blue paper from the Christmas Cheer collection. To add a little extra I cut out a corner from the blue paper and tucked the cardstock and black/white paper in.
In the layers under the paper I wanted to pick up the pink in the background paper and picked out one from the Valentina collection. No need to use a themed paper for Love and/or Valentine’s Day only. When adding layers under your photo a good idea is to add every other layer that will contrast each other in some way. For my title I painted some chipboard letters, added some Tiny Text and a cutout left from the Kerri Bradford team up.

“Little Man”, by Jennifer Chapin.
For this layout, I tried hand stitching! I started with a piece of white cardstock and lightly traced around a plate with pencil. I pierced holes about every 1/4 inch, then erased the markings and stitched with embroidery floss. It took quite a while but I am pleased with the result! It really is a labor of love. After that, I filled in the circle with bits and pieces from different collections. The great thing about Bella products is that they all go together! Just find similar colors (or for this layout - a rainbow) and start your project. Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

"That's My Moose Dawg", by Kat Benjamin.
We just adopted a dog in September and I think he’s pretty much the best thing ever. So, of course, I need to get him on as many scrapbook pages as possible. I thought it would be really fun to mix the Rover and Valentina lines to highlight how adorable Moose is and how much we really do love him!
