This week we are bringing you TONS of inspiration using the new Make It Merry collection, along with our previous Christmas collections and even some pieces pulled from everyday collections. I asked our talented designers to focus on fun little projects, and they did not disappoint! We have a fabulous mix of projects to share with you this week, including lots and lots of ideas for gift giving. And seeing as though the holidays can be one of our busiest times of the year, I love that so many of these projects can be created in no time at all.
Gift tags, by Lisa Dickinson.
While I love shopping for gifts during the holidays, actually wrapping the gifts is not one of my favorite things! So I’m always looking for things that make the wrapping process faster & simpler. These gift tags do just that, by serving both as tag and bow!
I used several different cut files (though punches would work as well!) and cut the shapes from a variety of Bella Blvd papers. Then I used a silver metallic mist to coat all the pieces, giving them a softer “snow-dusted” appearance. Once the pieces were dry, I layered them onto white tags, using foam adhesive between each layer. The dimension is what really makes the shapes pop! I also added a small coordinating enamel embellishment atop each of the shapes.
To finish the tags, I used the Tiny Text alphas to spell out the words “to” and “from.” Now all I have to do is fill in the recipient, and add these tags to the top of my gifts!

Christmas Tree ornaments, by Corri Garza.
I love using my Cameo to make 3d projects. I found these adorable little house ornaments and knew they be perfect for decorating this little tree. I cut three different ornaments from a mix of paper from the Christmas Cheer and Make It Merry collections. I topped my tree with a 3d bow from the Silhouette Store.

Joy treat box set, by Corri Garza.
I also used my Cameo to make this adorable treat box trio from the Silhouette Store. The petal boxes assemble without glue making them super easy to complete. They are perfect for holding candy but would also work well for jewelry ... maybe a necklace, earrings and bracelet.

Christmas Tree Pillow, by Kathy Frye.
I love sewing Christmas decorations! And I love green. So I pulled the various greens from the Bella Blvd fabric collections together to make this Christmas Tree Pillow.
I wanted the Bella green fabrics to be the star of this project, so I gave the tree a solid white background. I used little bits of solid red fabric to create a little movement and to break up the greens.
To frame the tree, I added some ribbon and Bella Blvd buttons. For the finishing touch to the pillow front, I did some free motion quilting. Merry Christmas!
