This week we are bringing you TONS of inspiration using the new Make It Merry collection, along with our previous Christmas collections and even some pieces pulled from everyday collections. I asked our talented designers to focus on fun little projects, and they did not disappoint! We have a fabulous mix of projects to share with you this week, including lots and lots of ideas for gift giving. And seeing as though the holidays can be one of our busiest times of the year, I love that so many of these projects can be created in no time at all.
“Joy” altered piece, by Jennifer Chapin.
I saw this 'joy' alterable piece at the craft store and picked it up thinking it would be perfect to embellish with some scrapbooking supplies! I first took a piece of plain typing paper and a crayon to trace over the front of the piece, using that as a template to cut my patterned paper. After gluing the patterned paper to the letters, I embellished it with pieces from Bella's Christmas collections. I think it turned out really cute - my daughter must have thought so too because as soon as I was done making it, she stole it for her room!

Christmas Gift Packaging, by Stephanie Buice.
Sometimes I get tired of looking at my boring wrapping paper and want something a little different for something special. This assignment gave me the perfect opportunity to dig into my Bella supplies and find some things to dress up a few presents I have been meaning to rap. For the first one I used a circle punch to cut my circles of patterned paper, then I glued them down in a random order. Then I took some of the Bella Bows and scattered a few of the within my circles. To finish it off I outlined my paper circles and added my “To and From” with some of the new Tiny Text Alphas. For my second present I cut some pine boroughs with my silhouette and layered them on, then I added in my little holy berries cut from red patented paper and topped them with some Enamel Dots. I made a gift tag and tied it on with some red and white bakers twine. None of these steps were really hard, but they make the gift a little more personal.

The Never-Ending card, by Julia Akinina.
For this post I have created the never-ending card, I used two Christmas collections from Bella Blvd - Christmas Cheer and Make it Merry. It's easy to create this card, you don't need a lot of embellishments because your card must be flat enough. I picked up the sheets of paper which matches good with each other, I added some stickers, sentiments, and cards from the daily details to my card. I used a lot of die cuts and finished my card with sequins. I've included a short video so that you can see exactly how it unfolds.
