We are back for our second day of our team up with Scrapbook Adhesives, as we bring you a week full of inspiration. Scrapbook Adhesives will be sharing projects from their designers, featuring our Bella Blvd products, over on their blog this week. And we have a group of our Bella designers that have been incorporating their fabulous adhesives into their projects, which we will be sharing right here, all week long.
Welcome to "What's New Wednesday"! Every Wednesday, our designers will be sharing projects using the latest and greatest products from Bella Blvd. Especially our newest collections, which our designers are having so much fun creating with!
"First Day Of First Grade", by Heather Leopard.
I wanted to create a fun and festive background with all the adorable patterns from the Star Student collection. I was inspired by school pennants so I create one in Silhouette and then arranged them to cover most of my background. I then adhered the pattern papers to the back, using the Scrapbook Adhesives Crafty Power Tape. I left some empty so I could fill in with embellishments. I plan to journal along the white edge on the left side of the layout.

“Pine In My Neck” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
I giggled when I saw this hilarious pineapple graphic! I immediately thought it would be perfect on a card! My whole family loves to joke around so this will be something that I give to one of them! All of the papers and embellishments are from the new Fresh Market Collection. I loved the bold, graphic style of the focal pineapple image so I built my card around that.
For the adhesive, I used the Crafty Power Tape (boy is that stuff strong!) and some white 3D Foam Squares, both from Scrapbook Adhesives. I really appreciate the strong bond as I can be assured the card will hold together, even with the rough handling the mail can sometimes cause.

“Sweet As Can Be” card, by Laurie Schmidlin.
Aquas, pinks, and reds are definitely some of my favorite colors together! When I saw that they were all combined in the new Fresh Market collection, I'm pretty sure my heart skipped a beat or two! I combined several Fresh Market papers with some of the coordinating graphics (part of the Fruitful sheet) to create a berry sweet card! Ha! For the sentiments, I used stickers ffrom both the Treasures & Text and Little Bits sticker sheets.
I really love dimension on my cards, so the 3D Foam Squares from Scrapbook Adhesives is right up my
alley! I used them to pop up the round sticker, the jar of berries graphic, and the whole background panel (popped up on the white card base). For the other papers, borders, and graphics I used the E-Z Runner (also from Scrapbook Adhesives). It's a super convenient double sided adhesive applicator that is both permanent and refillable!
