We are so excited to introduce you to our talented July Guest Designer, Leeann Pearce. Let's get to know a little more about Leeann and check out the projects she created to share with us!
Hello, my name is Leeann Pearce and I’m married to Quentin Pearce and together we have three gorgeous girls holly 13 storm 12 and Jorja 6. We all live in Victoria, Australia. It’s actually a year ago that we sold the farm in Western Australia and purchase a caravan and hit the road. We decided to take the long road round to the state of Victoria and tour this amazing country for 8 months. I still pinch myself with my life… so much happiness and amazing memories together. So while on the road I took a wee break from the scrapbooking world, but now you can see I am back. I’m super excited to have this amazing opportunity to be a guest designer for the month of July right here on the Bella Blvd blog!
I work part time in a gallery café where I am surrounded by awesome art. It fills my daily inspiration and also my coffee desire. I’ve been scrapping for over a decade now and have been on some pretty amazing teams in my time and published in many scrapbooking magazines here in Australia and also the USA. I create 12 x 12 pages always. I have a unique style all of my own which is made up of the things I love e.g.: circles, doodles, watercolours, layers, stitching, buttons, tabs and that quirky bit of randomness. I have no rules to scrapbooking I just enjoy the whole process. I store my pages in old suitcases for the girls to open and go through at any time.
“Hashtag Awesome”, by Leeann Pearce.
I was so excited when the box arrived and I saw the Just Add Color collection … I think I might have squeal for a bit! I couldn’t wait to get the watercolours out. I fell in love with the reverse side of “speak freely paper” I used haft of the pattern paper and added my own touch by stamping and doodling. I made a photo mat using random pieces from this collection and embellished using a mixed of trinket, treasure and text stickers.

I decide to create a pie chart matt as this is a design I love creating. It allows you to mix and match papers. Using the Just Add Color collection was simple as it flowed all I had to do was “Just add colour” using my watercolour paints for the pop! Again I added my signature touch of doodling. I am a massive fan of the trinket, treasure and text stickers and loved adding them here to.
“Cute Dog”, by Leeann Pearce.
This page is very dear to my heart. That’s our handsome dog “nugget”. But sadly because of our travels and moving state we decide to re-home him as we were going to be on the road for an uncertain amount of time. I have lots of fun photos of these two darlings together he was her dog after all. I loved using the Rover collection. It had everything I needed for this page and more. I created texture on the background by cutting the “loyal pattern paper” and piecing it back together that’s some thing I love to do. I took full advantage of all those quote stickers to finish this page off.
“Pet Me”, by Leeann Pearce.
I don’t own a cat but a fabulous friend handed me her cat photo…. Ohhh purrr-fect I said. I was so happy to play with the Riley collection. Our pets so do have quirky personalities. This is Mira and she’s a pure breed tonkinese who likes to play fetch like a dog! I loved the yellow chevron pattern paper which is on the reverse side of friendly feline and this was my starting point teaming it with the reverse side of tabby cat print. I add some scrappy bits from just add colour. I also add my lead pencil doodling with a touch of stamping. Once again the trinkets and treasure text finished it off. I used one of the daily details 4x4s and trimmed it into a banner shape as well.
Thank you so much Bella Blvd for allowing me to created with your latest collection, I certainly had fun and cant wait to see what you create next. Mwah!
