This week, we asked our designers to focus on our Enamel Dots & Enamel DooDads when creating their projects. These little bits of color and shine are perfect for sprinkling across your layouts and cards. We thought it would be fun to see what other creative ways our Creative Team members came up with to incorporate them into their projects.
“Flower Child”, by Lisa Dickinson.
My favorite part of the scrapbooking process is the embellishing - I love adding those perfect finishing touches to a page! The Bella Blvd Enamel Dots & Doo Dads are of my favorite supplies because they add texture and shine without bulk. While I usually use them to highlight areas around my page, for this design I chose to make them a focal point.
First I cut 1-inch holes in my card stock in a circle design (I used my Silhouette Cameo, but a circle punch would work as well). I layered this punched card stock over another piece of card stock and used a pencil to lightly trace an outline of each circle onto it. I then filled the pencil lines with various sizes of and colors of enamel dots. Then I adhered the original punched piece of hardtack over it, using foam squares to adhere it.
For the wreath design, I framed each hole with a flower die cut and some leaves. In the center, I arranged my photos and journaling. Finally, I layered stickers and chipboard letters for my title in the lower right. So while embellishing is definitely a fun part of the process, Enamel Dots can also play a bigger role in your design! Have fun experimenting with these versatile products!

"All Your Heart", by Becki Adams.
Enamel Dots mixed in with a few Doodads make the pink heart on this layout really stand out. I wanted this layout to convey how much my daughter loves reading, I think the giant enamel heart does just that.

“Love” card, by Julia Akinina.
I love enamel dots and I can't imagine my cards without them! Today I created cute black and white love-card with pink accents. I use the card with stripes for the main element, I cut it out from the "Words of wisdom" sheet. Then I added some layers of patterned paper and stick few enamel dots and die cut stars. Finally I found the cutest sentiment and places it under the word "Love". I think it's pretty cute!
