Project Life is everywhere these days, in many shapes and forms. Whether you create full Project Life albums, a few Project Life inspired layouts/spreads here and there, or even simply working Project Life style products (such as Bella's new Daily Details papers) onto your everyday layouts, there are so many ways to incorporate this popular style into your designs. We are asking our designers to be inspired by Project Life, and show us how they work that inspiration onto their own pages.
"Week 46", by Leanne Allinson.
This Project Life spread was completely inspired by all the amazing celebratory events that occurred during this week. And what better way to do that than with color. My eldest son celebrated his 12th birthday and my niece celebrated her fifth. I love that I can pull patterned papers from both the Christmas Cheer collection (we celebrated with a "Frozen" theme party on one our hottest weekends ever) and the Birthday Boy collection, without it looking completely random together. With careful color selection and several circle elements to link everything together, each moment on my page can be celebrated individually and also as a whole.
Tiny Tots: Treasures & Text; Christmas Cheer: Daily Details, Happy Hearts, Trinkets; Scattered Sprinkles: Just Write Journaling Stickers, Scattered Sprinkles McIntosh; Classic Calendars: Just Write Journaling Stickers; Max: Borders, Candid Cards; Molly: Trinkets; Family Forever: Trinkets, Paper Pieces; Lucky Starz: Pickle Juice Starz; Snapshots: Daily Details; Birthday Boy: Eat Cake, Cute Cuts, Alpha+Bits; High Five Alphabets: Gulf, Black-White
“Week 44”, by Katie Rose.
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone my mind is on Christmas. However, in my Project Life album I am just getting around to Halloween :) So this week focuses on the last week in October and the 1st week in November. I used a 4x6 journaling card with "October" on it for my title and then added a smaller 3x4 card with November to get both months on one spread. I then added lots of bits and pieces from the Halloween Magic line that worked really well for this week. I added some stitching for a finishing touch.
Halloween Magic: Daily Details, Borders, Hocus Pocus, Treasures & Text, Trinkets, Icons, Paper Pieces; Max: Candid Cards; Daily Chevies: Chevy Gulf; High Five Alpha Stickers: Black-White; Designer Tape: Polka Dot Combo, Pickle Juice Chevron
