Welcome to Monday Morning Challenge, where we offer up a challenge, and share with you our designers take on that challenge. Today we asked our designers to create layouts about what they're thankful for.
"Thankful Doesn't Even Begin To Cover It", by Katie Rose.
I didn't have to think twice about what I am thankful for this year. As I have mentioned before, we almost lost my husband this summer from a heart attack. So this layout is for how thankful I am for all the moments we have had with him since then. I used different sized strips of patterned paper from the Hello Autumn line, inspired by a quilt I had seen on Pinterest. Since there was so much color going on with the patterned paper I decided to use all black and white photos. I also used pop dots under my photo strips, though it is hard to tell from these photos. I added stickers and stitching to finish it off.

“Thankful”, by Diana Fisher.
For many of us, our family and friends are what we are most Thankful for. I snapped this photo of my son on my birthday. I was thankful that I had him to spend the day with and even doing one of my favorite activities, pumpkin picking. Since he is the most important part of not only this layout, but also what I am thankful for, I printed the photo on a glossy piece of white card stock at 8.5" x 11". I wanted his presence to be larger than life on this page.
